Assistant Base Engine Manager
Supervised, directed, and provided guidance to assigned personnel performing
jet engine aircraft mechanics in support of engine availability and combat
readiness for 3 F-16 wings at Osan and Kunsan Air Bases, Republic of Korea.
Provided engine transfer training to 7 Osan and Kunsan Air Base (AB) personnel,
ensuring a steady flow of engine downloads and replacements.
Managed human resources, equipment, and parts, ensuring uninterrupted Engine
Management (EM) operations and procedures. Avoided unnecessary engine pulls
through identification of missing Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO).
Streamlined Time Change Item (TCI) reports, ensuring 100% TCI unit forecasting
accuracy. Coordinated Logistics Program Management of daily EM issues, including
life management, health and maturity of assigned jet engines.
Trained and provided technical assistance to Engine Management Branch on
engine trending software. Managed engine assets in both the IMDS and CEMS

Supervised maintenance, documentation, and control of specialty tools in
support of maintenance and repair operations for 167 F100-PW-100 engines assigned
to 54 F-15 C/D aircraft. Supervised material support operations, including
control over 1,900 pieces of specialized equipment valued at $3.8M+, and $79K+ in
bench stock. Performed periodic inspections, servicing, and maintenance of
specialty tools. Ensured scheduled calibration on 193 pieces of test measurement
and diagnostic equipment. As Consolidated Tool Kit (CTK) Custodian, supervised
and monitored tool inventory, condition and operating order.
Managed and enforced supply discipline, conducting inventory assessments of
sections work order residue bin, and operating stock. Updated Tool
Accountability System, correcting part locations and numbers on 3K+ tools.
Eliminated corrosion and corrected improper tool etching by leading semi-annual

low pressure turbine, and augmentor modules, supporting production of 155
assigned turbofan engines. Used skills and initiative to identify problems and
conduct investigations averting costly repairs and parts replacement.
Accomplished Time Compliance Technical Orders and Time Change Forecasting as
applicable. Solved engine maintenance problems by studying technical instructions
and analyzing operational characteristics. Modified modules and components, and
installed engine module accessories. Controlled and utilized $19M+ in 220E module
conversion kits annually. Requisitioned replacement parts, components, and
modules through the supply channels, and prepared Due-In-From-Maintenance (DIFM)
assets for turn in. Ensured timely turn-in of $2.5M worth of DIFM parts
annually.
Managed maintenance data collection, job scheduling, training, and part
orders through use of core automated maintenance system, and standard base supply
system. Submitted quality and material deficiency reports. As Benchstock Monitor,
evaluated supply needs and managed benchstock account worth $65K. Used and
disposed of hazardous waste and materials in compliance with HAZMAT policies and
procedures.
