Managed Customer Response Center for Defense Department Agencies.  Managed a
staff of 5 Field Service Technicians and Network Engineers.  Initial
responsibilities included reorganizing the operations of the Customer Response
Center.  This encompassed writing new software for tracking customer technical
system problems, reporting and billing.  The application was developed using
Microsoft Access 2.0 and the Microsoft Access Developers Tool Kit.  The
application had over 400 Fields and various Access BASIC routines needed to
enhance the Microsoft Access application.  The program was completely "self
contained" and did not require Microsoft Access to be loaded.  Utilization of the
security features in Access was incorporated into the application to maintain a
secure operating environment.  Other applications developed included a Warehouse
tracking system by the request of the Vice President of Accounting.  This
involved development of bar coding CD-ROM products. The application interfaced
with a legacy accounting system to automatically update inventory counts and
sales orders.  Additional Responsibilities involved recruitment of a new
technical support staff.  A major objective was to re-established customer
satisfaction with the Pentagon and various Federal Agencies.
