First developed as a VB3 prototype with an Access database, the
application used a rule-based inference engine to identify potential money
laundering activity and report it to Corporate Security and relevant Federal

Completely re-wrote the application in VB5 and upgraded the database to
SQL Server 6.5 to take advantage of 32-bit processing and the multi-user
scalability of SQL Server
