Financial Insurance Management Corporation (FIMC), Lakewood Ranch, FL
SQL Developer – 1/2008 - Present
	Data Services Team Lead on company project to implement a highly
customized Microsoft Customer Relationship Management application.  
	Served as the sole developer for the Data Migration from the company’s
legacy system (ADS database) to MS CRM (SQL 2005 database).  Developed over 20
processes to migrate approximately 250Gig of data including error handling, data
transformation and business rule logic implementation.  Worked closely with the
Quality Assurance team to ensure that the data migration was a success.
	Lead the database team in the design, development and implementation of
the first phase of the company’s new Data Warehouse.  Guided junior developers on
best practices for the data warehouse, identifying areas for OLAP cube
development, designed an auditing and error handling for each of the SSIS
processes.
	Database management for the Application Development team as well as the
Database team (ensured that backups ran nightly, space issues were resolved,
index strategy implemented).  Also assisted the application developers in moving
data and developing views, stored procedures and queries to support the
application, also worked with the developers to design and develop secure
processes to protect sensitive customer data such as SSN’s and other demographic
data.
	Architected, designed and developed processes that will automatically
synch new/updated data from MS CRM back to the Legacy application (not all
business units were moved over to MS CRM).
	Served as Data Services key Developer for a highly sensitive large
scale company project which involved recurring data migration between the company
and its new third party vendor (push & pull).

Senior Database/Business Intelligence Consultant – 5/2007 - Present
Client: Tech House
	Designed, Architected, and Developed ETL processes using SSIS to build
a Multi-dimensional data mart for Utility Company which gave insight and analytic
capabilities for their Termination Payments.  This data mart fulfilled a
reporting gap required by the Sarbanes Oxley financial reporting requirements.
	Architected ETL processes using SSIS to migrate more than 100, 000
hierarchal customer data records from client’s legacy system to MS CRM
	Advised/educated manufacturing company on best practice for
architecting their database installation and security to fulfill requirements by
Sarbanes Oxley as part of their general computing controls.

Client: Infinity Business Systems
	Senior data analysis advisor/mentor to codes council client for data
cleansing of more than 300,000 member and certification records prior to data
conversion from legacy system to new ERP system.  Consulting tasks included
identifying data anomalies and patterns, and developing project plan to ensure
that all data concerns are addressed and cleansed prior to the production data
conversion. 
	Senior database consultant to for one of the client’s regional offices.
 Reviewed the SQL Server environment for performance issues, developed a plan to
correct/improve overall performance. Implemented maintenance plans for the SQL
Server and trained the developers on utilizing SQL Server in their development
projects.  
	Re-engineered ICC’s Testing eligibility and Test Result processes
(business and technical).
	Designed & Developed ETL processes using SQL Server 2000/DTS for
downloading candidate authorization data (requests from Jurisdictions for
individuals to take catalog exams) from FTP sites, transforming data and then
exporting eligible candidates to testing center third party vendor on a twice per
day basis.

	Senior Database/Data Warehouse Consultant responsible for reviewing
clients existing data sources, ETL processes and reporting/analytical environment
and then developing a plan to re-architect the ETL processes, establishing data
governance, implementing data standards and business rules surrounding the data
based on the documented business/data flow processes and then work with the
client’s IT department to develop a data strategy that will give the client
quick, accurate and efficient insight into its sales, SOS, COGS, inventory,
marketing and financials.
	Partnering with client vendor (Restaurant Magic) on new enterprise
software (Data Central) implementation with emphasis on reporting and analytics
requirements, design and implementation.
				

Crown Castle International (formerly Global Signal), Sarasota, FL
Manager, Business Intelligence – 4/2006 – 6/2007
	Led a team of Enterprise Data Warehouse/Cognos developers and a
business analyst in the support and maintenance of over 500 Gig of data and more
than 300 reports for a medium sized multi-million dollar Real Estate Investment
Trust.  
	Managed all phases of the Data Warehouse software development life
cycle ensuring that the business’s requests are clearly understood and designed
and architected new requests and ensured that all that solutions were developed
to specifications using data warehousing and reporting best practices and
standards.  
	Administration (Installation, Configuration, Maintenance/Upgrades and
Security) of the Company’s multi-tier development, staging and production Cognos
Application environments.  
	Database administration of the development, staging and production SQL
Server 2000 database environments to ensure that the data warehouse database
systems are available and highly performing during business operational hours.
Administration includes the installation, configuration, job monitoring, backup
verification, query optimization and performance tuning on all environments.  The
production database sizes are 500 + Gig with 13 databases on 4 servers.
	Business Intelligence team lead on enterprise project to document and
re-engineer the organization's business processes.  I facilitated 10
business-user meetings to understand extract and document each department’s
current business processes. I identified more than 50 business processes in the
meetings, and the business process information gathered was then analyzed,
integration points with other processes were identified, and then the entire
business process was visually documented using Microsoft Visio 2003.
	Lead the data integration efforts on the merger/acquisition between
Crown Castle and Global Signal.  Assisted the business from both companies in
mapping the data into data dictionary templates, gathering requirements on data
transformation rules and then creating the data architecture, queries and formats
for accurately transferring and reconciling approximately 300Gig of leasing,
financial, customer, vendor and operations data from Global Signal databases to
Crown Castle databases.
Data Warehouse Specialist – 3/2004 – 4/2006
	Design, Develop, and Implement Data Warehouse ETL architecture,
services and programs to perform data extraction, transformation and delivery
using Microsoft DTS and Cognos Decision Stream to build, manage and maintain the
company’s data warehouse. Developed an ETL program for the Treasury department
that scans and registers changes to data elements affecting the company's actual
and forecast sales/billings.  Prior to the implementation of the ETL program, the
Treasury department took approximately 15 days to report on these numbers, with
the program they can do data analysis and report on the numbers within 2 business
days.  
	Developed and executed customized training programs for the business on
business intelligence, company data and Cognos applications.  Trained over 50
users on Cognos Query Studio, Report Studio and Power Play.

Programmer Analyst – 8/2000 – 3/2004
	Business Intelligence team lead on a 2 year ERP implementation project
(PS Financials, PS  CRM, Lease Management) where I converted the company’s data
warehouse and front end reporting tools.  Successfully converted the Data
Warehouse from Microsoft Analysis Services, ProClarity, Crystal Reports and
Active Reports to Cognos.  Architected, designed and developed the custom data
warehouse and implemented data warehouse fundamentals and best in an effort to
provide a robust, integrated data warehouse.  I was also the lead developer of
150+ Cognos ReportNet reports, 5 Cognos Power Play cubes and 10 Cognos Framework
Manager Packages which allowed the business to have visibility and access to its
data from initial deployment of the new reporting environment.
	Designed and Developed 70+ reports using Active Reports and Crystal
reports in accordance with user specifications.  Also was responsible for
generating ad-hoc reports based on urgent user needs.
	Designed and Developed multi-dimensional financial cubes using
Microsoft Analysis Services, SQL Server 2000 with ProClarity 4.0 as the front end
browsing tool.  These cubes allowed the accounting and finance departments to
view, analyze and report on financial data (revenue, expenses, balance sheet, AR
Aging) based on a variety of business dimensions in an ad-hoc environment.
	Designed and Developed middle-tier components and GUI’s using VB 6.0
for company’s home-grown lease management software.  Designed and Developed
function that would allow users to automatically cascade the superceding of
agreements including error checks and error notifications to the users in the
event an invalid request was made.
