• Creating test cases, writing documentation, installing, and configuring
various 3rd party software for testing IBM Websphere Transformation Extender.
This suite of products is responsible for al-lowing users to convert data between
multiple source and destination formats and systems.
• Configuring and testing WebSphere Business Integration Message Broker V5.x,
v6.x. The product enables information, packaged as messages, to flow between
different business applications. This broker product extends the messaging
capabilities of WebSphere MQ by adding message transfor-mation and routing
features. My responsibilities included:
• Creating and verifying a default configuration
• Developing test message flows and message sets
• Broker administration tasks and deploying message flow applications
• Diagnosing and fixing problems
• Extensive use of multiple operating system platforms as well as knowledge of
the protocols and technologies used in data transformers.
• Testing meta-data transformation tools, used to map input and output data to
specific rules and functional mappings.
• Responsible for testing and maintenance of over 30 adapters (Oracle AQ,
Base64, Batch, E-mail, FTP, FTPS, HTTP, HTTPS, MIME, MSMQ, GZIP, Tibco, Tuxedo,
Soap, Tar) and 10 meta-data importers (XML, DTD, Cobol, Com, Web Services,
Mtsmaker, Corba, Java Class, JMS, Bapi). Many of these adapters and importers
testing was automated using Segue Silk automation scripts.

• Developed Oracle database GIS application for unified storage and retrieval of
the complete information on land development and construction permits issued in
large metropolitan area with 25 million population. Environment: Motif, Redhat,

application for Windows en-terprise computing environments. It alleviates
downtime during system maintenance by ena-bling online disk administration and
configuration. Volume Manager provides disk usage analy-sis, RAID techniques and
the dynamic reconfiguration of disk storage while a system is online.
