• http://cj.qnewmedia.com/ : Migrated whole website to QNewMedia server. This
website offers hiring, networking and marketing solutions for public and private
clubs, vendors and recruiters. It is developed using PHP 5.0, MySQL. Used WinSCP
and PHPMyAdmin to connect to web server.
Responsibilities: Added following functionalities:
o Accepting online payment using Authorize.net.
o Corn jobs to send e-mail notification to employers and jobseekers upon
registration (email template is read from text file).
o Employer functionality: Search and sort jobseekers by last login.
o Consolidated navigation tabs so that it will be easy to change/add new
navigation tabs.
o Fixing various miscellaneous issues.
Technologies used: PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Adobe Photoshop.
• http://www.vaneck.com : This website gets more than 500 visitors in
peak hours and around 6000 visitors per day, it gives details of investment
choices offered by Van Eck Global. Majority of visitors use Internet Explorer or
Firefox to browse VanEck.com. This website is developed using ColdFusion, MS SQL
server. All text & image URLs are pulled from database on fly. Emphasis is given
on reusability of code (with custom tags) which gives marketing team option of
introducing new product (new web pages) without much changes to basic skeleton of
website. XML is used for navigation menu which can also be modified on fly.
Worked on Remote Desktop connection over VPN and WiSSH.
Responsibilities: Worked on GUI (presentation layer) of whole site and to make
site multibrowser compatible. Involved in ColdFusion programming. Emphasis is
given on reusability of code (with custom tags) which gives marketing team option
of introducing new product (new web pages) without much changes to basic skeleton
of website. Analyzing and minimizing page download times. Worked on Remote
Desktop connection over VPN and WiSSH.
Technologies used: ColdFusion, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Dreamweaver, Adobe
Photoshop, Adobe Flash and XML.
• Flash Video for Vaneck.com (Project ceased)

This is only part of the project of serving FLV video files. External custom
made skin (.swf) is used so that video player’s color can be matched to the rest
of the sites (Vaneck.com or MarketVectorsEtns.com). This video loads disclaimer
from a server-side XML file so disclaimer can be changed without modifying .FLA
file.
Responsibilities: Implemented video player from concept to creation. Used
actionscript and various features of Macromedia Flash.
Technologies used: Adobe Flash, ActionScript.
• http://www.MarketVectorsEtns.com – Clone of vaneck.com completed at fast pace
(two weeks) from getting requirements. MarketVectorsEtns.com is in fact an
overlay on the same physical directory structure, and IIS website, as vaneck.com;
this is to enable
fastest development and reuse of includes, pages, styles, etc. while still
allowing divergence wherever needed.
Responsibilities and Technologies used: Same as Vaneck.com. This website is
clone of vaneck.com.
• In addition to above mentioned web applications did lot of web designs,
animations, banners, html newsletters and web development assignments as needed
and coding in ASP for Citrix Systems, Inc. (VENUE Advertising Client).
Technologies used: Adobe ImageReady, Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, ASP, HTML,
CSS and JavaScript, Ms Access.

Successfully developed following applications for internal use:
• Training List: This application maintains list of individuals who received
training. Training is valid for one year, it sends automatic e-mails to
individuals when their training is about to expire. This system is in sync with
oracle database to update individual’s info on daily basis.
• Field Training Officer Website: Provides information about FTO department like
monthly Newsletter, Upcoming Events, and Contact Information etc. Administrator
tool to upload meeting minutes. ( PDF documents )
• Detective-Case Management System: In this system Administer assign’s cases to
detectives. When detective logs in the system they sees all cases assigned to
them. Detectives can enter status of cases which helps administer track cases.
