in-house system to support Mutual Fund business with its core on As400 product is
known as GFAS, which supports multi-currency, multi-language, multi-channel

Description Countrywide Account Expansion was basically CIS (Countrywide
Insurance System) maintenance project. CIS application system in which account
number is used contains around 11000 Programs (CL, RPG, RPGLE) and around 18000
files (physical, logical and display files). The whole project was in eight
phases.
The purpose of project was to increase the 32 database fields and corresponding
work fields in programs. Basically in almost all of the programs Account Number
need to be changed from Seven to Nine digits.
All the effected Programs & Files had been modified reviewed and tested
successfully as per the guidelines of CHL. Team got the Best Project award from
company for year 2001-2002.
Responsibilities Conversion of RPG, RPGLE, CL codes to confer to the
guidelines.
Team review of the code as per the quality standards.
Testing of the programs for proper functionality.
Project was judged as Best Project Executed at Keane for year 2001-02.
