• Developed permitting strategies to authorize the construction and the
operation of new emission control equipment to reduce NOx, SOx, Hg and other
harmful coal-fired power plant emissions. 

• Coordinated and technically reviewed New Technology Research and Development
(NTRD) program proposals at TCEQ that concentrated on giving grants to projects
showing potential for reducing NOx emissions in the State of Texas

• Perform emission calculations, dispersion modeling using software’s such as
AERMOD, CALPUFF, and regional air quality model-CMAQ. Perform spatial analysis
using ArcGIS.

• Prepare various Title V operating permit renewals, NSR permit amendments,
permit-by-rule packages. 

• Completed various reports including semi-annual NSPS reports for
chemicals/solvent industries, wood processing industries, steel industries, oil
and natural gas industries; up-set reports, deviation reports and annual Title V
compliance certification.

• Served as responsible authority in the Process Safety Management (PSM) plans
and implementation procedures across the plant, and served as the team leader of
50 employees.

• Presenter of air quality issues in Beaumont-Port Arthur (BPA), and
Houston-Galveston area at SIP planning meeting for BPA area.
