•	Radio Frequency Scanning System: Wrote RF applications via Teklogix RF
scanners.
•	Inventory Scanning System: Used Intermec scanners, to scan inventory in bins,
then downloaded via PC to AS400.	

Springs Industries (formerly Dundee Mills, Inc.)
Griffin GA - 1991 to 1995
•	Source Management System:  Designed/programmed source management system from a
production AS/400 to a development AS/400 via SNDNETF.  Also, the check-in
procedures from the development AS/400 to the production AS/400 including old
source/object and new source/object placement automation.
•	Menu System:  Designed/programmed a system to allow a control person to
maintain menus and add/change/delete menu options for the different departments. 
Programmers add new applications via an interactive program with certain security
features available.  This system saves programmers time in changing and compiling
DDS and CL menu  programs, thus reducing user downtime for the users.
•	Quality Control  System:  Designed/converted manual entry of eclipse bales
from lotus worksheet to AS400 applications.  This system allows the greige mills
and fabrication processing to analyze where the defects occur, more accurately 
•	Fiscal Inventory System:  Designed and implemented an entry system for all
greige bales in inventory and in process.  Included is a reconciliation report to
check validity of where the inventory is in the system vs. where it was entered.
•	Jomar System Enhancements:  Involved heavily in system/program
design/enhancements and user involvement to Dundee Mills manufacturing
requirements.			
•	RF Spread Spectrum System:  Wrote RF applications using Norand equipment.

			YKK Inc
Macon, GA. - 1987 to 1991  
•	Import System:  Design and implemented an international import system.  This
work was previously being done manually.
•	Data Collection System:  Converted a manually tracked in-process system to a
bar-coded system at each in-process station which allowed the production and
scheduling department to readily access a customer's order in which to convey to
the customer more accurately and timely.
			
Hawkinsville Telephone Co
Hawkinsville, GA. - 1980 to 1987
•	System Conversion:  Converted IBM 34 to WANG VS85.
•	Switch Conversion:  Converted X/Y manual telco switching system to a Northern
Telecom Computer.  Involved manual paper tape direct calls and 80 column mark
sense punched operator handled calls to on-line data collection.      
•	Deregulation:  Re-designed the present billing system to give the customers a
separate inter/intra telephone bill.  Also, changed hard coded telephone rates
within programs to a table structure, which allowed easier maintenance of
telephone rate changes via an interactive program.

Summary:	Well diversified in the computer/communications industry, having served
both in technical positions and public relations, in the area of management,
programming and system design with over twenty years of experience in this field.
