About Me
Born in Macon, Georgia, I developed a keen interest in Human Behavior and
Cognitive Development. Even from an early age. This led me to pursue a B.Min and
M.Min degrees in Ministry/Counseling. I served in the United States Air Force for
9 years, and I am a Gulf War Veteran, and have an Honorable Discharge. I attended
the most rigorous Logistics, and Senior Management Training the Military offers,
and additional Special Training that most do not have an opportunity to receive
from NATO, and(USAFE)United States Air Forces Europe. In addition I have offered
various Counseling Services which required in depth Behavioral understanding.
I also hold a B.S. in Business Administration/Economics in addition to the
aforementioned. I am also Licensed for Pastoral Counseling and Ministry. The
potential benefits that can be derived from the application of such wealth of
experience and education I was fortunate to obtain motivated me to dedicate
myself to the dissipation of essential knowledge, applicable to the average
citizen. I involved myself with many Non-Profit Organizations to offer my
experience to local communities to enable it's growth and to enable my fellow
citizens to have available every opportunity of advancement that was offered to
me. I currently am on the board of one such organization and an Honorary Lifetime
board member of one other.
I owned and operated an Atlanta Georgia based Consulting/Construction business
for nearly 15 years which it's success was due to my exceptional background in
Management and Logistics. During this time I donated one-two days of my time
weekly to the Court Systems. Working with individuals with difficulties in the
Drug Courts and Criminal Court (utilizing my counseling training). I always had
an opening in my company for individuals that had a desire to turn their lives
around. I not only made my experience and expertise available to the courts, but
to any person that wanted to turn their life around. I feel if all my efforts
only ever aided or helped just one life it was worth it.
I have Published one Book in March of this year/09. The book is entitled;
Global Epidemic The Fear That Cripples and deals with Anxiety Attacks, ISBN
978-0-557-05536-4. I closed the doors to my Construction/Consulting Company, and
developed Taylor Consulting Group in order to allow time to write the book. I had
planned to re-enter the work force after completion of my book, and now am
offering My Talents and Mastered Problem Solving skills to your company. I have
no aspirations of being self employed again, and am seeking a Professional
Company that will allow a Mutually Beneficial Arrangement, long term. I will
consider Contract Opportunities.
Warmest Regards,
Mark Taylor

Notable Career Highlights and Advanced Experience (A glimpse)
Additional Advanced Experience
The United States Air Force was very particular in my training. They did not
spare a dime when it came to my training, and this is why my situation was and is
unique. I was fortunate to receive training beyond what typical Air Force Airman
would receive in Logistic due to a special assignment I was awarded, and hand
picked for. You may be aware of this operation.
It was not made public until well after it was up and running and they hand
picked each person. 900 people to start with, and a 500 million dollar budget
(Initial). The operation was the opening of the United States first Ground Launch
Cruise Missile Nuclear Base. The now well known Ground Launch Cruise Missile
(GLCM) was in fact designed to be a nuclear delivery device however, we have seen
the shock and aw footage where it is used for conventional weapons as well. The
operation was in England at RAF (Royal Air Force) Greenham Common. I was there
unofficially for 5 years, officially 3 years. We leased the facility and
constructed the nuclear facility from nothing but a run down old British World
War II Glider base. Later to praised as the most state of the art facility in the
Air Force or NATO for that matter. I was sent there from Norton Air Force Base in
California (MAC Military Airlift Command Logistics) to be part of managing the
Plans and Programs/Logistics Operations. It was a huge success. Not only did we
have to handle all of the logistics for the initial base and all its materials,
assets, and personnel, but we had to draw up for the first time all plans and
programs for the long term operations of the base, and most importantly the
rotation of the nuclear missiles themselves as they have to be sent to the
manufacturer on a routine rotation for upgrades, overhauls etc. Much like your
computer gets upgrades. This would seem run of the mill for most logistics
professionals, but dealing with 96 Nuclear Missiles their support equipment, and
personnel at the time was unprecedented logistically speaking.
The Air Force along with NATO sent me to many locations, classes, and
certification programs before I was to begin my work there. I received an
additional year of training beyond the normal Air Force Logistics person. I was
trained for any scenario or crisis that could be imagined, be it military
operations to civilian operations. I am well trained in the commercial sector for
the U.S and Europe. So I am very familiar with every aspect of the civilian
transportation system as well as military. In some situations as we did during
the Desert Storm Operations we utilized civilian assets for our logistical needs.
In the case of Desert Storm we called up the CRAF Air Craft. CRAF = Civilian Air
Reserve Feet. The government pays commercial airlines a fee to have X amount of
their aircraft configured for easy transition to military use. We had to use this
CRAF fleet during the staging for Desert Storm. The Gulf War staging was a
massive logistics undertaking, unprecedented. The current Gulf situations do not
even hold a light to what we did during the Desert Storm operations as far as
logistics. I was one of six in charge of the Air Terminal Operations Center
(ATOC) at Warner Robins Air Logistics Center during Desert Storm. Having just
return from England this was precisely what I had been trained for and managed
the night operations which moved the majority of all personnel and equipment on
the east coast to the Gulf region. The outcome speaks for itself as it was well
bragged upon even in the media of how smoothly we managed to put in place such
massive amounts of materials, and personnel. Our exceptional training was the
key, and at Robins AFB my extra training for the Nuclear Facility in England
added to it's success, which I received medals for as well as medals from Kuwait,
and Saudi Arabian governments.
I hope this gives a magnified view of the exceptional advanced management, and
logistics management experience I possess. I strongly feel I would be perfect for
the stated position. As soon as I read the requirements for the job and the
responsibilities I knew it was the right fit. I truly hope you see this as well,
and as a seasoned Human Resource Executive I know you do. I am sure you are
already aware of the fact, I am a Veteran, and in many cases companies are
rewarded for hiring Veterans. I am not sure this applies in this case, but a
thought.
I truly hope to hear from you, and I thank you for your time , and attention.
PS: If for some odd reason there is a candidate out there that possesses a
better set of qualifications for this stated position, do keep me in mind for
other opportunities. I am not opposed to relocation. Would rather stay in
Georgia, but I am accustom to having to move about (Military). I hope that this
becomes a fantastically mutually beneficial relationship, but again if not, keep
my resume in your in-box.
Warmest Regards,
Mark Taylor
