May 2003 to Present - F-22 Raptor Avionics Integration Laboratory (RAIL) SMS
Lead Lab Test Engineer.  Assignment to RAIL providing support to weapons
simulator equipment including PASIS AMRAAM simulator, telemetry (TM) computers
and IOFP (Instrumented OFP) applications for SDB and JDAM testing.  Involved in
all facets of RAIL SMS IT&V (Integration Test and Verification) processes. 
Involved with maintenance and operation of SMS Generic Monitor (GENMON)
application used to load all F-22 assigned weapons and record discretes and
MIL-STD-1553 data.    Extensively tested using the PASS-3200 1553 analyzer to
capture, save and analyze data.  Involved in IT&V  RWP, MOP and IVRE requirement
reviews and test procedure development.  Cadre member of RAIL SMS including the
ESMS conversion.  Wrote Perl language applications to help in testing metrics. 
Involved in extensive design and execution of RAIL subsystem SCDA (Synchronizer
Controller Development Analysis) software simulation flight scenarios with IRIG
time control.  Assisted in System Administration tasks particularly for the
Alpha/VAX OpenVMS as well as UNIX and Windows computers.

September 1997 – C5-AMP Controls and Displays (C&D) assigned to RBT or
Requirements Based Test team.  Software Test Engineer through CDI Corp. 
Responsible for completion of MFDU Application Client (MAC) CSCI.  Helped write
the STP/STD documents maintained using the PVCS CM tool.  Responsible for
development and execution of ITT RBT scripts.  Helped develop ITT database files
including the sdl, irs, blist and bus database files for Cursor Control Device
(CCD) and MAC CSCIs. Familiar with data standards/protocols including
MIL-STD-1553B, ARINC-429, ARINC-708, ARINC-702A, ARINC-739A, and Inner Module
Messaging (IMM) on the VIA Safebus

Prior to C-5 AMP project served on C130J and C27J RBT teams.  Performed RBT in
many functional areas of C130J and C27J Mission Computer software including: CMDU
NAV, TCAS, CMDU PFD, CMDU Caps, Low-Power Color Radar (LPCR), Sideslip, Pusher,
ATCS, and Stall Warning System.

August 1996 - Rockwell Collins, Inc. Design (Software) Engineer.   Provided
technical support to Active Matrix/Liquid Crystal 5-ATI Multifunctional displays
(MFDs) and replacing existing electro-mechanical flight instruments aboard
military aircraft.  Supporter projects involving 
TSO-II, CH-60, TCAS, KC-135 aircraft incorporating software design, code and
unit testing of various display components.  I wrote TCAS diagnostic software for
the fault display and performed all CSCI testing.  On CH-60, wrote the hover
display component software.  
Integrated display components for the ADI, HSI, MAP and PFD on other projects. 

August 1992 - Litton Data Systems, Senior Software Engineer.  Involved with a
software design team tasked to complete software implementation of the Navy's
Combat Simulation Test System (CSTS) Displays. The CSTS provided shipboard combat
system training and evaluation for the LHD class ships. I was responsible for the
documentation, code, and unit testing including in the Link-11 communications
display function, X-Pulse status, dual-IFF stimulator, SPN-35B stimulator and the
LAN status displays. Software development was done in ANSI-C. The system was
built using a UNIX platform with real-time message processing and an
X-Window/Motif interface. I developed, tested and documented the LHD-5 CSTS
Configuration Management tool in Unix Bourne Shell.
Prior to the LHD project, I was involved in real time embedded ADA coding,
testing/ integration of the top level display software and the radar beacon
digitizer (RBD) simulator software for the Korean Naval Tactical Data System
(KNTDS).

1990 - Olson Staffing Service, Computer Support. Responsible for the
maintenance/memory management of an Intel 386 processor PC for use in running a
nurse registry business. Installed/maintained a voice/fax/mode card, Excel
spreadsheet and Peachtree business software for managing the business. Due to
nature of the business, set up voicemail on computer to call forward repeatedly
to cellular phone until message was received.

1987 - GTE Government Systems, member of the Technical Staff.  Member of the
Software Support and Enhancements team supporting top-level/detailed design,
coding, integration and testing of CSCIs (DOD-STD-2167) for existing Phase II
real-time embedded software for signal processing deep space satellite tracking. 
System Administrator for two VAX/VMS clusters, Macintoshes, and MicroVAX’s. 
Supervised a Systems Operator and responsible for the upgrades to all software on
the system.
