Handles and settles commercial vehicle bodily injury claims and litigation
across the United States.  Directs defense counsel and control litigation
expenses by communicating with legal representatives by phone and in person
regarding claim payments. 


SENIOR LITATION EXAMINER

Infinity/Windsor Insurance Company, Alpharetta, Georgia	1985 - 2005

Managed large quantities of insurance litigation claims in several jurisdictions
across the United States. Managed a wide variety of cases, from bad faith and
high-exposure cases, through personal injury automotive claims. Also handled
major catastrophe claims due to hail, tornadoes, and frozen pipe claims.  As
Senior Litigation Examiner, was responsible for hiring defense counsel in several
states and coordinating contracts with attorneys and defense law firms. Provided
guidance on all claim-related legal matters, and litigation strategies to case
teams. Negotiated contracts with defense attorneys to ensure fixed rate defense
fees, thus saving the Infinity/Windsor Insurance Company approximately $400,000
in annual outsourcing.  Selected to serve a three-year term as the Claims Unit
Manager for the State of Georgia.
