software using C++, PowerBuilder, and Visual Basic 5.0 to accomplish the

Systems Support Representative/ Systems Engineer 
1.	Laboratory information systems CNE, installing, managing and supporting
remote local area networks over a            five state region. 
2.		Responsible for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting 285 LANs.
Hardware and software solutions provider for projected new accounts provided
testing and implementation for new network hardware, i.e. routers, hubs, frame
relay, and US Robotics Total Control TP servers. 
3.	Traveled extensively over the United States serving as IT liaison between
company sales and management staff to provide integrated solutions for new
accounts and existing clients. 
4.	Responsible for software upgrades and patches for network stability and
enhancement, upper-level support team management for 285 remote networks.
5.	Serving as the Sunbelt region's only upper-level interface developer.
6.	Extensive experience with financial and medical interface engines, especially

Memorial Medical Center, Inc. Savannah, GA 				1/1990 - 1/1995
Staff Paramedic/Fleet Operations Manager.
1	Responsible for day-to-day fleet vehicle operations for GA's largest ambulance
service. Also provided end user support for MedStar and LifeStar's local
information system MEDIC. 
2	Interfaced directly with upper management providing historical patient record
data feeding 911 zone structures, clinical patient analysis, and monthly vehicle
budget reports.
3	Aided in selection of MedStar and LifeStar's newest CAD (Computer Aided
Dispatch) for ambulances. 
4	To date, still attend yearly conference for Emergency Medical Services as
honored guest of MedStar and LifeStar. 
 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

1	Myself along with a business colleague formed Healtheon-WebMD’s first
organized HL7 interface development group bringing the HIE Cloverleaf product to
the front line as one of the primary development tools of WebMD.COM.
2	Lead successful ground breaking technical negations for Healtheon WebMD’s
second largest revenue producing account thus allowing WebMD’s beta product to
debut and begin back-end parallel testing 5 months ahead of schedule and budget.
3	Developed and tested 22 laboratory information systems to practice management
systems interfaces that further reduced missing billing information which lead to
fewer claim rejections.                                                          
                                                 
4	Drafted Quest Diagnostic's first end-user newsletter. This was the beginning
of a ongoing letter that Quest Diagnostics sends to end-users.
