· Plan equipment installs and place orders on network systems equipment as well
as estimate equipment costs for additions and/or changes
· Site acquisition, zoning, plan reviews/changes, request construction drawings,
and apply for building permits
· Facility moves utilizing equipment from various vendors
· Estimate job costs, send out scope of work for RFP, select vendor for the
install, and order all parts/equipment for installation
· Provide customer support to resolve equipment malfunctions, clarify
maintenance procedures, and assist with network problem isolation
· Coordinate corrective actions and equipment upgrades with vendor, sites, and
engineering.
· Schedule job activities and track progress
· Coordinate and perform acceptance tests
· Site surveys, design, and install of central office/cell sites
· Supervise crews to insure installation is per customer specifications and
complete all necessary paperwork
· Perform AutoCAD drafting for a mechanical engineering firm drawing floor
plans, adding plumbing/HVAC, and as OSP Engineer produce construction drawings
· Monitor equipment/job costs throughout the duration of the job
