Oversight of Project Manager, accounting, field management, and administrative
staff for the Ted Steven International Airport Terminal C Expansion Project
structural steel sub-component. Acted as interface with general contractor
(Kiewit) and Owner (State of Alaska). Coordinated and managed subcontractors,
suppliers, and consultants. Processed $3M claim resultant from design
deficiencies representing Hyundai Steel Corporation.
Project Manager, Matrix General, Inc., Anchorage, AK 1997-1999
Responsible for General Contractor Project Management Activities to include
submittal processing, design inquiry coordination and routing, contract document
tracking and distribution, and change order proposal preparation and
presentation. Subcontract and purchase order issuances and all subcontract
administration from buyout to closeout. Project Scheduling using Suretrak
Primavera. Project Accounting to include budget updates and change order tracking
using Timberline. Continued oversight of in-house accountant for clerical
accounting, bookkeeping, and insurance/overhead administration responsibilities.
