I have over fourteen years of experience in vast areas of the business industry
specifically within property management, underwriting, claims, and customer
service.  I am currently self employed as a property manager for multiple single
family dwellings and handle all of my own leasing contracts, maintenance, and
financial statements. On an independent contract basis at The Rapid Survey Group
I am an Insurance Surveyor accountable for managing my own workload on
replacement cost evaluations for homeowners insurance. I was most recently with
CUNA Mutual Insurance Group as an Underwriter with daily responsibilities of
processing private medical information and depended greatly on my listening and
investigative skills to assess health, lifestyle, and behavior risks to rate
policies. I have experience with Fugarwe Investments as a Manager in all aspects
of a small business including employees, marketing, and inventory. During my time
with VGM in the department of Homelink I gained valuable knowledge of insurance
benefits, reviewing medical records with transcribing and imaging, ICD-9 billing,
CPT coding, HRIS, and accounts receivable. My customer service career began in
high school at age 16 while at MCI where I performed the duties of long distance
operator, customer billing assistant, and handling overseas calls. 

Throughout my college career I have supported myself and worked full-time. I
graduated from Hawkeye Community College with an Associate of Arts Degree in
General Studies. I then continued my college aspirations and graduated from Upper
Iowa University with a major in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. I graduated
with Cum Laude Honors and was on the Dean’s List.  I have solid experience with
the Microsoft Office package, Internet, Adobe, Apex, E2value, Lotus Notes,
Microsoft Outlook, Peachtree, Publisher, and Quickbooks, through work, school,
