define existing processes, evaluate technology, benchmark best practices, develop
future state-of-the-art HR systems. Other duties include managing department
expenditures, creating budgets and special projects.
Created Required for Proposals (RFPs) and received bids for a time and
attendance system

Lead Project Manager for the PeopleSoft Student Administration (PSSA) System.
Responsibilities included overall management of the project, leading the Project
Management Office by directing consultants and City Colleges ' personnel.
Accountable for installing the new student system for the City Colleges by
directing hardware and software installations, system testing and conversion,
interfacing with other systems, training of staff, faculty and students.
Installed PSSA in nines months which prior project managers could not install
in four years
Students were able to successfully register for classes in the PSSA on time
and within budget
Director of Auxiliary Services/Assistant Business Manager * City Colleges of
Chicago: Wilbur Wright College, Business Office (2004)
Responsibilities included managing budgets for all grants and the overall
accountability for campus facilities. Other key duties: Assistant Business
Manager overseeing accounting and cashiering activities, managing the college 's
engineering, housekeeping, food service and security departments. Other duties
included managing special projects; new security camera system, installation of
the electronic classroom scheduling tool and the training of employees on the new
software.
Decreased completion of engineering work requests from four weeks to five
days
Managed the installation of the new telephone multi-line system for the
college
Financial Manager * ComEd, Office of the President, (2002 * 2003)
Responsibilities included improving business relationships between Business
Services Company executives and ComEd managers. Facilitated, negotiated and
managed $110 million of service level agreements (contracts) between the two
companies. Evaluated and revised the Office of the President 's Business
Continuity Plan for continued operations in case of terrorist activity or crisis
in the central Chicago business district. Developed a Tools for People
policy for ComEd employees covering laptops and desktop computers, cell phones,
pagers, and palm devices in order to establish a budget and physical controls
over nearly $18 million of at risk company equipment.
Facilitated costs reductions of nearly $6 million of company equipment
purchases
Reduced cell phones and landline phones billing errors resulting in an annual
savings of nearly $500,000
Implemented post-911 business continuity operations with alternative work
sites for the president, his key executives and staff
Service Strategies & Financial Manager * ComEd, Exelon Business Services
Company (2000 * 2002)
Negotiated and managed service level agreements ($200 million) between this
start-up company and other Exelon subsidiaries, and developed rules of engagement
with customers.
Developed the company 's first management model, initiated performance
benchmarks and customer satisfaction surveys in order to determine
competitiveness with external service providers and to set enhanced performance
targets to achieve 1st or 2nd quartile service levels within two years of
start-up
Shortened the length of contract negotiations with customers by 50% in the
second year
Developed the organization 's first customer issue tracking-to-resolution
process, which reduced unresolved issues from three months to less than 30 days
Credit Risk Manager * ComEd (1998 * 2000)
Managed Unicom 's corporate credit functions across regulated and unregulated
subsidiaries.
Established and wrote the open electric market credit policy which became law
in the State of Illinois
Developed credit policies and procedures for subsidiaries in order to better
manage and reduce credit risk per business unit and for Unicom in totality.
Reduced energy trading risk by $4 million and retail customer payment risk by
