--Involved in the conversion of United Airlines’ in-house Accounts Payable
system on IDMS database to the Walker AP Financial Package on DB2. Customized
Walker AP transactions and modules, using Walker tools, TXN, TID, TGS and SCR. 

--Analyzed and researched business requirements for Tax, Inventory, Material
Catalog, and Delivery Location interface systems. Documented functional and
technical specifications, coded, tested and implemented both inbound and outbound
interface programs.

--Installed the Vertex SalesTax Package. Gathered working knowledge of Tax
department processes for AP implementation. 

--Integrated Vertex software package with Walker AP invoicing modules using
Walker tools and custom COBOL programs. Built a connector and connector exit for
the customized Walker COBOL tax program that called the Vertex software, and
other TGS changes to invoice modules.
