Key Career Accomplishments
• Organized numerous real estate partnerships creating significant financial
gains in every case. Purchased, rehabbed and sold residential properties as well,
making substantial gains on each transaction. Owner operator remodeling
business for over 20 years.
• Organized a partnership (himself included) and created a business plan that
was personally presented to the President and Senior Vice President of the
Commercial Lending Division for the Bank of New York, ultimately obtaining
funding for the purchase of a 200,000 sq. ft. Illinois manufacturing facility.
Applied for, personally guaranteed and was granted a $200,000 corporate operating
line of credit from a local bank.
• Proved financial need for, solicited public officials and obtained county and
local tax abatements for an Illinois manufacturing firm.
• Audited bank statements through subpoenas, uncovering fraudulent use of
corporate funds, misrepresentation of assets for the purpose of obtaining a loan,
interstate mail fraud, insurance fraud, misuse of a corporate bank credit line,
and fraudulent conveyance of corporate asset.
• Organized and initiated legal action relative to audit findings, participating
in all aspects of the process.
• Uncovered questionable asset valuation by a national defense contractor,
Talley Industries. Then by independently auditing their financial statements, 10K
and 10Q, created documentation as to senior management’s intent to transfer
corporate assets into a “Senior Management Retirement Account”, robbing the
shareholders of significant asset value. Discovered false asset valuation that,
when corrected, made the company insolvent, placing the defense contractor in
violation of contractual covenants set forth by the United States Federal
Government and the Department of Defense. Findings were presented in a report at
a board meeting and orally at a stockholders meeting. The stockholders
immediately dismissed the CEO. The company was reorganized and the stockholders
interests were protected from further fiduciary breeches.
