Accountable for the establishment and enforcement of technical writing standards
and policies for the PRONTO Support Group. Wrote policy and procedures, user
guides, disaster recovery (maintained DR information on LDRPS). Sought new
opportunities for PSG members to improve communication skills, such as a team web
site where members could express themselves and learn new technologies. Led
diverse cross-functional team to start a Toastmasters club at our Vernon Hills
campus, elected as first club president. Many employees took part in this
communication and leadership forum as part of the employee improvement program of
the company.
Spearheaded standardization of document formatting, ensuring company policy,
SOX & federal requirements compliance. Saved company more than $75K.
Coordinated disaster recovery plan documentation, structured for LDRPS

system. PRONTO was a customized version of Fidelity's INTERACT home loan
origination system.
