Although most of my experience is working in the field of parks and recreation,
I am very interested in using education, skills and experience for a good cause.
My education and managerial experience makes me good a good candidate for a
administrative position. Recently, I have received a Bachelor of Science Degree
in Park and Recreation Administration from Illinois State University. Currently,
I am employed at the Munster Parks and Recreation as a full-time Recreation
Supervisor with an emphasis in Special Events.
Through the experience I have working with parks and recreation departments; I
have gained knowledge and abilities to fundraise, organize, market and run
special events. Organization, ability to work as an effective team member,
multi-tasking and having great interpersonal skills are just a few of the skills
and qualities that I posses. With the work experience and educational background
I have, I feel I am a qualified candidate for a position with your agency.
