Summary of Qualifications:
•	Technical point of contact for day-to-day activities related to the storage
management of large active directory environment, and server farm (both remote
and hands on).
•	Responsible for providing operations and sustainment engineering support for
information processing systems, including monitoring of system operation, system
problem identification and troubleshooting, including coordination with user,
site and factory personnel. 
•	Organizes workflow and resources in compliance with Air Force Regulations and

management, adding and configuring devices on a Dell platform, account

establishing storage baselines.
•	Monitor, evaluate and optimize system performance, maintain disaster recovery
procedures, perform system backup, and implement system security policies across
windows server 2003, 2008/Management of Exchange Server 2003/2007 environment. 
•	Assists Air Force administrators with planning and installation of custom
software releases and upgrades.
•	Experienced in building and deploying new virtual and physical machines.
•	Familiarity with NetApps storage systems, NTFS/CIFS file systems and Dell
Servers. Analyze, log, track and complex software and hardware matters of
significance pertaining to networking connectivity issues, printer, server, and
application to meet business needs. 
•	Coordinating multi-site activities and various other daily activities as
tasked by the team lead of storage.
•	Coordinate hardware and software installations/upgrades to ensure work is
performed in accordance with policy. Recommends resolutions, and coordinates the
implementation of complex matters of significance.
•	Writes and maintains updated Change Requests and Problem Reports in Remedy.
•	Coordinate and monitor troubleshooting for fault isolation/diagnosis: document
system events to ensure continuous functioning. Recommend course of action and
implement as approved.
•	Coordinate testing, upgrade and configuration of system files and services.
Ensure changes are in accordance with appropriate operating procedures.
•	Utilize standard tools to record changes, service requests, and problem
activities for tracking purposes.

May 2006 – Jun 2007
Supported the AMC storage management environment, which operates across multiple
networks/domains. Assists in managing 400TB RAW flat file spanning two DMX 3’s, 8
NS-20s, CX-400, CX-500, and a CX-700. Performs file permission management for 79
shares holding millions of files, across the breadth of the AMC domain.
 
 Enterprise Messaging Supervisor, 868 CS, USAF, Scott AFB, IL                   
   Jan 2005 – May 2006
Managed 30 Microsoft exchange 2003 e-mail servers, containing terabytes of
information on 65,000 users. Massive exchange cluster environment down a bare
minimum of down time, and no complete outages reported. Resolved 1500 customer
remedy tickets via troubleshooting, and situational replication of problems.
 
NCOIC Standards/Evaluation, 423 ABS, USAF, RAF Molesworth, UK                 
Oct 2003 – Jan 2005
Trained 13 airmen fresh from tech school to achieving their 5 level in record
time. Airmen satisfactorily completed 231 tasks vital for competence as an Air
Force Networking professional. Training took place in 142 days, finishing their
career development course the next month for a total time of 170 days to achieve
a career upgrade that is averaged to be completed in a year.
 
Network Administration Technician, 423 ABS, USAF, RAF Molesworth, UK           
Oct 2002 – Oct 2003
Administered 583 network devices, from routers and switches to servers and
workstations. SMS administrator, created 290 advertisements for TCNOs, to be
distributed to  250 work stations, with zero failures. Troubleshot hundreds of
failed installations of advertisements, and corrected them with minimal service
interruption.
 
Helpdesk Technician, 423 ABS, USAF, RAF Molesworth, UK                    Jan
2002– Oct 2002
Managed three member helpdesk for 250 member unit with zero customer
dissatisfaction incidents. Created thousands of internal, as well as hundreds of
external, NOSC level REMEDY tickets for users. Used SMS to troubleshoot and
remedy 50% of all trouble calls handled. Installed the SMS client on dozens of
workstations to ensure proper patching.
