Produced and directed video documentary short entitled Hope of Awakening about
the healing transformation of battered women. This documentary short is now in
national distribution with The Cinema Guild, Inc. and JIST Publishing, Inc.
Currently writing the expanded book version, having interviewed the new Director
of the ABA’s Commission on Domestic Violence.
 
Visionary Productions
Researched historic national events for documentary narrative. Prepared graph
outlining African American history beginning in 1890’s to the present for
documentary celebrating the 100 year anniversary of the Indianapolis Recorder ,
airing in February, 1999. Continued as script writing consultant.

Associate produced Choices and Consequences video, enabling Marion County Health
Department to illustrate to IPS students the consequences of choosing crime.
Revised and proofread script.

Co-wrote script and produced CITYNET Manual marketing video.

 In one year, took a lagging video product line  from the red to the black.

Coordinated catering, hired, and managed backstage staff. Worked with traveling
backstage crews and local union. Coordinated all needed equipment:
lights/gels/stage/ and so on for each show. Worked with the traveling Road
Manager. Hired and managed all security (Police and T-Shirt). Laid out
advertising schedules in various cities. Co-wrote and proofread copy for radio
spots and newspaper ads. Produced TV spots. Wrote and proofread fact sheets and
assembled press kits. Included closing out the outlets on day of show. Traveled
to Richmond, VA for advance promotion of A CHORUS LINE, which we presented
through American Theatre Productions. Scheduled interviews with local media.
Bought TV and newspaper schedules.
