Account Specialist “ PAR North America, Carmel, IN (Jan 2008 “ present)
Assisted banks and credit unions, auto auctions, and repossession agents in
completing assignments and recovering various collaterals using a sophisticated,
web-based coordination site. Also answered questions over the phone, completed
paperwork, and assisted in selling units at auction. Showed flexibility by
proactively learning multiple parts of the system, was promoted to Sr. Acct
Coordinator after one year and an Account Specialist after one-and-a-half years.
Associate Trainer “ Panera Bread, Carmel, IN (Aug. 2007-July 2009)
Prepared and served orders to customers, utilized a complex cashier computer
program, and became an associate trainer in little over eight months on the job.
Have been routinely commended on work ethic, quality of customer service, and was
recommended to train as an associate manager.
Test Evaluator - CTB/McGraw-Hill through Kelly Services (Apr. 2007-Nov. 2008;
Part Time)
Assisted with computer-based evaluation and scoring of standardized tests from
various regions of the country. Routinely exceeded standard evaluator
expectations by attaining scoring percentages in the high-to-mid nineties, in
comparison to the benchmark standards of eighty-to-ninety percent set by my
employer.
Ice Distributor - Arctic Glacier Ice, Burton, MI (Summers 1997-2005; Aug.
2006-Mar. 2007)
Distributed bagged ice, assisted with ice freezer delivery and removal, and
completed corporate secretarial duties (e.g. daily financial transaction
paperwork) via paper and portable computer media. Rehired every summer during
high school and college due to extraordinary customer service, co-operation, and
reliability.
Teaching Assistant - Department of Modern and Classical Languages, Hope College,
Holland, MI (Aug. 2005-May 2006)
Worked as a teaching assistant for a Classics Department professor. Specific
duties included organizing and compiling digital and print media, typing up and
grading assignments, and even teaching class. Often took assignments home to
finish on own time and completed them faster than expected. |
