Senior Contract Programmer

Responsibilities:
• Performed as a senior programmer at Caravan Ingredients for a multi company
integration project to Infor ERPlx
• Was responsible to write data base conversion programs using RPG Free Format
to convert data into Caravan Ingredients ERPlx system software from the phased
out ERP software of Best Brands Foods
• During this project all three company data conversions were completed ahead of
schedule
• Increased performance was programmed; the conversion programs used SQL
optimization in RPG Free Format which resulted in an average conversion time of
15 minutes for each company.  As a result there was no downtime for the companies
that were converted to Caravan’s ERPlx manufacturing software

Responsibilities:
• Performed as a lead Senior Consultant for a multi-national company integration
project at Belden Wire and Cable
• Was responsible for this project involved creating multi language capabilities
for Belden’s existing ERP Worked with the manufacturing package (BPCS 6.1),
integrating custom modifications and creation of a web based order entry solution
to interface into Belden’s BPCS 6.1 order entry. All assignments were delivered
on time and within budget
• Within two months, successfully trained an off shore support team in leaning a
BPCS case tool called AS/SET and taught the off shore team the basics of
manufacturing

Systems Engineer

Responsibilities:
• Programmed and maintained BPCS ERP systems from release version 6004 to 8.3.
in RPG ILE
• Served as technical project lead instrumental in rewriting BPCS 6.1.
• Was responsible for extensive product knowledge of BPCS Order Entry, Picking,
Shipping, Outbound Logistics Management, Warehousing and Manufacturing
• Was instrumental in writing, building and maintaining SMG’s (Semantic Message
Gateways) which allows real time interoperability between different ERP systems
and platforms.  This is a message based technology utilizing C and C++
programming languages
• Implemented automated testing tools:  QA Partner and Mercury Automated
Testing
• Was a key member of a project team designing the replacement of SMG’s with a
JAVA and XML based object oriented strategy called the LX adapter. The LX adapter
is XML based integration technology which can run on the AS400, UNIX and on PC
based platforms
• Learned C, C++, JAVA and XML programming languages which was instrumental to
the success of the SMG and LX adapter projects. Utilized XML as a messaging based
interface between web applications and third party ERP software
• Implemented the LX adapter integrating ERP LX and a SSA Global warehousing
solution called WMS4000 for Del Monte Foods and Honda of Mexico. This team
project was successfully completed in less than five months for both companies
