Professional Experience:
THE BOEING COMPANY	Wichita, Kansas 1974 to 2009
Information Technology Process Analyst (2005 to 2009)
Led and directed the Boeing Portal Infrastructure Services project for the
secured portal in Belleview, WA from home-based (virtual) location in Wichita KS,
including production timetables, status reporting, team coordination, and quality
assurance. Produced process documentation to ITIL and SEI/CMMI standards.
Suggested many major components of Disaster Recovery plan adopted by Portal
Services and Computing Network Operations.
Computing Process Specialist, Web Design & Development (1997 to 2005)
Helped create the Wichita eBusiness Solutions group at Boeing Wichita. Developed
and produced the Wichita division's internal highly secure website and
applications including web page design and development, site hierarchy, server
structure, configuration management, status reporting, and relations with
customers and subcontract suppliers.

Key Accomplishments:
- Created a Disaster Recovery plan for Portal Services, which incorporated
geographic failover, offline storage and scripted replication of documentation.
- Built the first website for Boeing Wichita's purchasing department that
enabled online procurement services between departments and across divisions.
- Developed an eBusiness external website that enabled communication of
production data and delivery requirements between planners, buyers and suppliers
which saved the company millions of dollars. Deployed that same system for
multiple divisions outside of Wichita: Auburn and Lynwood WA, Corinth TX, Tulsa
OK, Huntsville AL, Oak Ridge TN, Arnprior Ontario, Winnipeg Manitoba.
- Helped create the first centralized mentoring and development team within
Boeing, including writing job descriptions and interviewing candidates for the
team. That team created and supported over 50 applications. Focused on rapid
application web development reusing objects/code, tools and processes. Successful
projects included several versions of a web self-publishing application and
online sales of subcomponents to subcontractors and other divisions, which
eliminated over $4million in excess inventory and received a special invention
award.
- Wichita eBusiness Systems team received SEI/CMMI Level 5 certification. As
Configuration Management focal I led that effort.
- Created and delivered documentation via web pages and portlets, documenting
systems within the systems.
- Served on the planning committee and presented at the LEAN Symposium in
Seattle, WA 2007 and 2008.
- Presented the Electronic Accommodation Sales project to the Boeing Technical
Excellence Conference in St. Louis, MO in 2002.
- Received IEEE Software Process award and recognized worldwide for process
improvements and use of SEI/CMM methodology for software development and
maintenance.

Senior Buyer (1974 to 1975; 1979 to 1998)
Procured outside production parts, spares and materials and was accountable for
price and contract negotiations, integrated supplier relations, inventory
management, distribution management and report management.
