	Salary and Position Surveys will provide necessary information on
salary surveys, salaries, titles, number of employees, etc. Consults with
employees regarding routine personnel transactions, pay computation, vacancies,
interpretation of Civil Service Rules and other Human Resources 
	Management issues. Provides interpretation of hospital and Civil
Service policies and procedures; Receives and resolves routine complaints from
employees regarding personnel actions. Assists and advises employees seeking
information regarding Civil Service rules, policies and procedures, employee
benefits, promotional opportunities, career paths, minimum  qualifications, merit
increases, etc.  Provides “need to know" information, technical assistance to
management and support staff; Provides assistance and advice to agency personnel
Civil Service on rules, Federal and State laws, and departmental policies and
procedures.

management in the compilation of information, special projects, reports, etc.  
Run Human Resources queries and  employee reports with PeopleSoft, Citrix with
crystal reports on a monthly basis
	Verify all License Practical Nursing with Louisiana State Board of
Practical Nursing.  Assist with running queries and responsible for supplying
Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics with job openings and Labor
Turnover Surveys on a monthly basis.  Serve as back up for PAR processing, drug
testing, new hire processes and annual review and LASER'S applications for new
hires.
