It is a windows based application which collects prices for securities currently
owned by Allstate Insurance Co. using a   variety of vendors as well as providing
an interface to verify,  validate and modify these prices. This application
automates the arduous task of updating numerous prices on a daily basis. 

Trade Capture Applications 		              						
These are windows based applications which are used for the entry of all fixed
income security trading activity and some equity security trading within the  
investment department of Allstate Insurance Co. Security and Trade information is
entered and managed both prior to and after trade settlement. The application is
also used as a reporting tool. There are various online maintenance screens and
reports available. The application interface with other systems.

Responsibilities: 
•	Developing, Implementing and Supporting Pricing Application, Trade Capture,
Collateral Management systems
•	Designing and modifying the database table and wrote complex SQL queries,
stored procedures, functions and triggers in oracle as per business rules set by
the client.
•	Developing front end maintenance screens to verify validate and modify these
prices, developing Management Information System reports. Automated process of
sending price request email to various brokers and loading prices into the
database using SQL*Loader.

Muni Credit scope/Perform and Private Placement Credit Scope/Perform are vended
application provided by Investor Tools.
Muni Credit Scope/Perform applications used for the analysis of the performance
of Municipal bonds and the credit stability of the bonds’ issuers. Users employ
the applications to assist in making Municipal Bond trading decisions for the
upcoming day, and to track the indicative data on the Municipal Bonds and their
issuers.  


Private Placement Credit scope/Perform applications replaces several loosely
connected processes into a single application that will track pending Deals in
the Market as well as deals that we already own. It also tracks Deals that
Allstate has turned down for historical monitoring purposes.
