Over 13 years experience in the computer networking industry. 6+ years as a
senior IT manager, mentor, and coach of junior staff members. Excellent

EXPERIENCE
IMAGESCAN, INC., Lanham MD, Senior Systems Engineer (August 1998 – Present)
 
	Work as part of a banking software company that deploys software to manage
image-processing tasks for large financial institutions.  Work both on-site and
at headquarters office to ensure proper deployment of ImageScan software on a
wide array of client networks. Responsibilities include:
 
•	Experience with the following hypervisor platforms: Windows Virtual Server
2005, VMware ESX Servers. The installation of ESX Server 3.5 and using Virtual
Center 2.5 to configure and manage VMotion, HA, DRS, and VMware Consolidated
Backup. Create VM Snapshots for test/dev as well as in production change
controlled release environment. P2V Migration planning and implementation.
•	Managing and Implementing Proof of Concept designs for virtualization
platforms to comply with business continuity planning and disaster recovery for
large financial institutions 
•	Managing IT security requirement for new and existing installations 
•	Managing development planning and testing, as well as the implementation and
installation plans for the Migration to Windows Server 2003 from Netware 4.11,
Windows NT, and Windows 2000 Server;
•	Automating installation of 2000/XP workstation loads and auto scripting

Engineer/Penetration Tester (August 1996 – August 1998)
	Worked on mission critical assignment to test and implement NSA standard
security policies for the Joint Reserve Intelligence program at the Navy Marine
Intelligence Training Center. Responsibilities included:
•	Conversion of Solaris Platform to Windows NT 4.0 Server to reduce TCO
•	NSA Penetration testing for Windows Server and workstations in a highly
secured environment
•	Installed and managed the resource and development of Windows NT 3.51 to 4.0
networks across FDDI backbone running TCP/IP
•	Customized installation to configure 60 file servers across remote sites using
Exchange 4.0 message servers and IIS 3.0, NT Workstation based applications;
•	Designed the implementation plan for all application installations;
•	Managed administration settings of one-way and two-way trust relationships
across Domains;
•	Implemented and designed batch files to import over 1000 UNIX users to
Exchange mailbox and NT accounts, Custom Registry Change for C-2 Security and
Customize Applications; and
•	Created the Windows NT 4.0 System Policy for modified Adm. template files for
a SCI Classified Environment. 
  
I-NET, INC., Bethesda MD, Network Specialist/Engineer (August 1995 – August
1996)
	Worked as a system administrator for the Ballistic Missile Defense Organization
(BMDO) at the Pentagon. Responsibilities included:
•	Provided technical support for the Pentagon’s network infrastructure primarily
Ethernet which included, bridges, routers, T-1, CSU/DSU, cabling and more, in a
classified environment and general LAN communications of 10 Novell Netware v3.12
servers for more than 800 users;
•	Maintained Novell Netware v3.12 servers connected across FDDI backbone running
IPX and TCP/IP
•	Installed, upgraded and configured file servers, message servers, Windows and
DOS based applications; and 
•	Managed Cisco routers, VX encore CSU/DSU, conducted daily network
administration, performed system maintenance and troubleshooting support.
 
 TRANDES CORPORATION, Lanham MD, Systems Administrator (August 1994 - August
1995)
	Supported computer network systems for over 2000 users for Naval Supply Systems
Command. Responsibilities included: 
•	Installed and maintained the network infrastructure primarily Ethernet which
included bridges, routers, hubs, cabling and more, as well as, general LAN
communications for numerous office locations;
•	Re-engineered multiple, existing networks from remote sites and created a more
efficient and stable environment;
•	Windows 2000 connected to an Ethernet network running TCPIP and NetBEUI,
performed maintenance and troubleshooting support;
•	Maintained numerous Internet accounts using DCHP servers
•	Purchased and installed all hardware and software, performed network
