12/2008 – Present – Receptionist/Administrative Assistant, Randstad Staffing –
Columbia, Maryland
Currently maintaining a Temporary to Permanent Position, as a Receptionist, for
Tidewater Inc. Responsibilities include greeting customers & personnel, answering
a multiline phone system, and supporting Program Managers and other staff with
administrative tasks, such as filing, maintaining logs, faxing and handling
incoming and outgoing mail.
8/2005 – 12/2008 – Receptionist/Document Control Specialist, Vector Security -
Columbia, Maryland
While in Document Control, my duties included processing all incoming sales &
installation paperwork, creating accounts in the MASterMind computer system,
acting as first point of data entry. Documented all parts installed for
inventory purposes and I set up job files for installation scheduling and
processed alarm permits for multiple counties in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. My
entry position was Customer Care where I assisted customers in making payments,
troubleshooting security system issues and scheduled service appointments. As a

greeting incoming personnel and visitors.

I managed membership records, standard front desk procedures, for over seven (7)
Fitness Center & Spa properties simultaneously. Performed general administrative
duties, including but not limited to; reconciliation of money made each day at
each property. I was also responsible for interviewing and hiring prospective
candidates for employment. Maintained the weekly payroll, managed weekly shift
schedules, and scheduling spa appointments. Handled membership cancellations and
seized billing. Resolved customer service issues, marketed memberships, and
created fliers for sales and membership programs. I also created an SOP Manual
(Standard Operations & Procedures) for the front desk facility staff and produced
bulletin boards for monthly promotions and other various assignments dealing with
computers and supporting multiple managers.
