• Responsible for researching and understanding all aspects and components of
the Certificate Management Process in order to aid my team in the development of
software products pertaining to Certificate Management.
• Currently developing an automated version of SSA Form 467, which includes data
storage, archival of record changes, automatic request notification via email,
and automated help? This application is being developed utilizing Visual Studio
2008, SQL Server 2005, and Microsoft’s AJAX toolkit.
• Currently developing various applications using Visual Studio 2005 products
and SQL Server 2005.
• Currently developing an application in ASP.NET, utilizing SQL Server 2005
which matches non-windows software products reported in the Systems Management
Server’s SMS database with software vulnerabilities reported by US Certs,

• Enhance/troubleshoot/modify various applications written in MSACCESS.
• Responsible for installing and configuring new hardware and software for the
Division. This involves researching, analyzing and evaluating alternatives for
optimizing system performance. Responsible for documenting procedures involved
in such LAN Administrator activities as the reimaging of servers and
workstations, preparation of equipment for new contractors and employees,
recovery of files from servers and workstations, emergency installation of server
hard drives. Responsible for maintaining documentation on a shared hard drive
that can be accessed by all LAN Administrators.
• Responsible for coordinating any repairs of servers/workstations using either
the help desk or CAPRS. Responsible for diagnosing problems in consultation with
other SSA Staff, or in consultation with technicians representing third party
vendors.
• Continuously monitor server status and respond to, diagnose and correct
problems generated by MOM alerts.
• Design test scenarios in consultation with other SSA Staff. Write scripts
using Visual Basic Script to monitor performance, security, reliability and
accuracy issues.
• Responsible for re-imaging and configuring Servers and Workstations of various
types for SSA using the Xpress imaging process at SSA. Research and test ways to
optimize the performance of various equipment.
• Responsible for troubleshooting various issues with Microsoft Server 2003,
Windows XP, VISTA, Visio, Project, Outlook and other SSA software.
• Responsible for configuring the Division Laptops which might entail re-imaging
and connecting the laptop to the wireless network.
