Worked on two multi-tiered web applications at the same time using cutting-edge

a)      Convened meetings with VOA Video Library staff and managers and
discussed the functionalities of the Video & Film Distribution Management System
(VFDMS). Wrote the system design and implementation proposal.
b)     Convened meetings with BBG management team to analyze their report
tracking business rules and system requirements. Wrote design and implementation
proposal for the Report Tracking System.
2)     Designed and implemented a new database on SQL Server for the VFDMS
system. Migrated video tape data from the old FoxPro application to the new
system. Wrote dozens of high-performance stored procedures for the ASP.NET 3.5
front end.
3)     Integrated the new VFDMS system with the existing Video Library System
(written using ASP.NET 2.0 with Oracle 10g as the backend) and implemented a
single sign-on for both systems such that they appear to the end users as a
single system.
4)     Designed and implemented the database for the BBG Report Tracking System
on SQL Server. Wrote dozens of high-performance stored procedures for the ASP.NET
3.5 front end.
5)     Care is taken in the implementation of both databases to maintain data
consistency and integrity. For example, if one data element is changed, all
related data elements are also changed when needed. 
6)     Designed and implemented the AJAX-enriched front end of both systems
using C# on ASP.NET 3.5 and the SubSonic Entity Framework. The design and

Directory for user authentication to avoid creating and maintaining new user
names and passwords.
