PROFESSIONAL PROFILE:

Working as a software engineer for over 20 years,  I have worked designing and
implementing many business systems for fortune 500 companies.  Coding and testing
IMS DB/DC applications beginning in 1980, for 8 continuous years at Bethlehem
Steel Corporation, I gained experience developing software business systems from
the ground level up.  After building IMS DB/DC systems in the steel industry, I
worked as a systems analyst using acquired skills for the Mobil Oil Corporation. 
Using TELON, DB2, Intertest and Abend-Aid, my testing and problem determination
skills were enhanced.   Developed interfaces with micro computer sub-systems
including Electronic Data Interface (EDI) standard processing.  Continuing to
acquire global systems development tactics, I worked next for the International
Business Corporation (IBM).  For 2 years, I performed systems analyst duties on
the Item Access Facility project using PL/I.   This project used optical data
storage, supplied data for both IMS & CICS applications worldwide for processing.
 This software system was packaged for resale by IBM operating on CICS and IMS
platforms.  While working for the United States Department of Education,      I
became an employee of the Raytheon Corporation.  I worked on the National Student
Loan Data System contract using ISO 9001 development standards.  This was a
central data collection and reporting system for college students across the
country.   Working with various clients in major business areas allowed me to
obtain good listening skills.  These listening skills help me recognize the
client’s needs quickly, design appropriate software solutions and deliver systems
that meet their needs.
