Senior Windows Server Engineer
• Responsible for installation and maintenance of over 350 Windows Servers.
• Implemented several Windows Server clusters for high availability utilizing
Microsoft and Veritas technologies as well as HP SAN technologies. Services
provided on clusters include File, Print, SQL and Exchange (2000, 2003 and 2007
including CCS).
• Implemented Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.
• Performed the following major upgrades: NT 4 domain to 2000 Active Directory;
2000 A.D. to 2003 A.D.; Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2000 (including migrating to a
new Exchange organization); Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2003; Exchange 2003 to
Exchange 2007; Netware 4.x to 5.x; Netware 5.x to 6.x.
• Implemented and maintained monitoring systems including MOM 2005 and System
Center Operations Manager 2007.
• Implemented vmware and Virtual Center resulting in virtualizing over 150
Windows Servers.
• Migrated the following major services from Novell Netware 5.x/6.x to Windows
Server 2000/2003: file, print, DHCP and LDAP.
• Responsible for developing standards for all Windows Server installations
including unattended installations, imaging using various technologies including:
Sysprep, HP Rapid Deployment, Altiris, PXE, Acronis, Ghost and vmware templates.
• Implemented many applications via Citrix Metaframe/Presentation Server.
• Implemented McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator for server and desktop anti-virus
protection.
• Implemented SMTP gateways for content filtering using Mailsweeper, Tumbleweed
Email Firewall (added secure messaging with this project) and Exchange 2007 Edge
Transport servers. Also administered Postini services for spam management and
email spooling.
• Lead on many business specific application installations and upgrades.

• Responsible for installation and maintenance of all computer systems including
Windows Server 2000/2003, Exchange 2000/2003, Windows XP and Windows Vista.
• Responsible for implementing and maintaining backup system including Data
Protection Manager.
• Implemented and maintained System Center Essentials for monitoring and updates
of servers and workstations.

and Advanced Server; Citrix MetaFrame 1.8; ZEN Works; NDPS; WatchGuard Firebox I,
II, SOHO; Cisco and 3COM routers, switches, hubs; Compaq, HP and IBM servers;
Compaq, Gateway, Dell, HP, IBM, Toshiba and unbranded desktops/laptops; Altiris
Express/LabExpert and Vision; BorderManager. Non-technical aspects included time
management, customer service, documentation, training and standards/processes
development and deployment.

Server Technologies Coordinator
• Responsible for server support in the Davenport Educational System (comprising
of 3 colleges and over 20 campuses). Support included NetWare 3.12, 4.1, 4.11,
5; GroupWise 4.1 & 5.2 (1,500 users); ArcServe 6.1; Faxserve 5; ManageWise 2.5;
DHCP; LAN WorkGroup/WorkPlace. Hardware includes primarily HP servers. Also,
secondary support with PC issues and NT Servers. Extensive use of Norton Ghost
including multicast.

• Responsible for all computer and telephone support for the entire district (9
buildings). Support included NetWare servers 4.1 and 4.11 (Compaq and IBM);
