03/03-06/08 PROGRAMMER/ANALYST: Chrysler LLC, Auburn Hills.
UAW Contract Negotiations, Wage Attachments, and Special
Projects for Legacy Payroll System. PeopleSoft developer
for Payroll Year End project.
Specific Accomplishments:
- Implemented eleven payroll data extracts using COBOL and
Easytrieve in support of UAW Contract Negotiations and
ongoing loads into the Data Warehouse.
- Saved manual effort by fixing a bonus calculation, reason
code error, and poundage calculation in the CICS Wage
Attachment subsystem.
- Designed, developed, tested, and implemented changes to
several CICS programs to restrict access to users based on
payroll type.
- Automated process to load DB2 tables to support unit and
system testing for the CICS Wage Attachment subsystem.
- Maintained edits for 25 CICS online programs.
- Interfaced with many payroll areas on special projects
including SUB, S&A, Profit Sharing, and General Ledger.
- PeopleSoft Developer for revamp of HR Transfer Pages.

- Maintained key programs for Pantry and Legacy Ordering.
- Implemented a new CICS/DB2 Allocation program and made
enhancements to five other DB2 batch programs.
- Converted a batch VSAM update program to IMS, wrote specs
and reviewed test results of fifteen programs for the ELMO

9/94-10/97 PROGRAMMER/ANALYST: General Motors Service Parts
Operations, Detroit and Flint. Maintained and enhanced
CICS COBOL online parts order entry system.
Specific Accomplishments:
- Added part input via UPC code using DB2 to three
transactions.
- Developed all input processing for a new claim
transaction.
- Implemented changes to 17 CICS online programs and
23 VSAM files for sales reporting system.
- Implemented major changes and enhancements to the Order
Status transaction that read IMS databases from CICS.
- Developed a new IMS online inquiry/update screen.
6/90 - 9/94 PROGRAMMER/ANALYST: Chrysler IS, Centerline. Maintained
production IMS COBOL health care flexible benefits
subsystem and converted programs from IMS to CICS DB2.
Specific Accomplishments:
- Converted and implemented five online CICS DB2 programs
and implemented two new online programs.
- Analysis through implementation for new retiree flexible
benefits reconciliation batch process in DB2 that saved
an estimated $15,000 annually in time spent by the
customer verifying deduction amounts. Received the
Employee Support Process Quality Award in March, 1992 for
this enhancement.
- Supported IMS online and batch programs and implemented
changes for intermediate phase of IMS to DB2 conversion.
- Maintained batch process to refresh entire DB2 subsystem
from IMS during conversion process.
- Implemented conversion of batch DB2 process to send,
receive, and reconcile payroll health care transactions.
- Converted batch DB2 monthly 5100 byte eligibility file
for Blue Cross for all employees and retirees.
- Reduced run time for three long running batch DB2
programs.
03/89 - 6/90 PROGRAMMER/ANALYST: General Motors Service Parts
Operations, Pontiac. Coordinator for consolidation effort
to eliminate Honeywell mainframe processing from existing
IBM and Honeywell systems on CICS order entry subsystem.
Worked with off site group to gather requirements, publish
technical design, modify existing programs and construct
new programs based on conversion of VSAM files to Block
Level Shared databases (shared between CICS and IMS).
Specific Accomplishments:
- Converted several programs from COBOL to COBOLII and
utilized CICS EXEC DLI commands.
- Design through testing of inbound update processing
using ISC to transmit data between CICS and IMS.
- Key figure in interface and integration testing.
