PROJECT 3
Client : TA, Vietnam
Project Title : TAHL Customizations
Platform : Windows 2000/XP/2k3
Technologies	: Syteline Customization, Crystal Reports 9.2 & SQL Server
Description:
FIFO allocation:
TAHL needs further manipulative control over Purchase Order Receiving i.e.
Quantity received from the supplier will be allocated to Purchase Order on FIFO
basis. Standard SyteLine does not provide functionality to auto allocate quantity
received from supplier. Auto allocation of quantity received from supplier on
FIFO basis it was customized.

Consolidated Job Pick List
Theodore Alexander (hereafter referred as TAHL) needs further manipulative
control over Issuance of Material to Shop Floor. Standard SyteLine has the
Standard Job Pick List and Material Pick list under the Job Paper Work report but
both will give output per Job Order where as TAHL requirement is consolidation of
quantity as per material.

Consolidated Resource Group Dispatch List
TAHL needs further manipulative control over Resource Dispatch List. Standard
SyteLine has the Resource Dispatch List Report and Resource Group Dispatch List
Report, which will display dispatches for each and every resource; meaning that
both reports display which resource is allocated to which job. TAHL’s requirement
is to consolidate dispatch list on Resource Group.

Item Exclusivity
Theodore Alexander (hereafter referred as TAHL) needs further manipulative
control over Customer Order Entry. TAHL will provide Item Exclusivity to their
Customers, meaning Items can be restricted to certain specific Customers. There
are two types of Item Exclusivity, although they are handled in the same way: -
1.	Collection Exclusivity. Some of our collections are not sold in certain
countries e.g. the Althorp Collection is not sold in the UK, while the Hampshire
Antiwues collection is not sold in the US. Another example is the Chair Man
collection, which is only available to customers who buy into the Chair Man
program. For other customers, the whole collection is prohibited for sale.

2.	Individual item exclusivity by country. This often happens when one customer
in a specific country decides to purchase an individual item from our catalog on
condition they have exclusive rights to sell that item in their country. Other
customers in that Country are prohibited from purchasing that item from TAHL (but
customers from other countries are eligible to purchase from TAHL).

We can handle this using Customer Item Cross Reference but there are thousands
of Items. If we enter those thousands of Items in Customer Item Cross Reference
for each and every customer then there will be huge data entry work as well as a
lot of data entered in the database. To reduce data in database and data entry in
Customer Item Cross Reference was customized.
Roles/Responsibilities:
•	Involved in Interface Designing, Code generation
•	Creation of stored procedures.
•	Creation Of Crystal Reports
•	Modeling database architecture and ensuring it supports the business needs.
