Executive Summary
Veteran application software/database developer with 24+ years of experience in
the entire software development life cycle including analysis, code and GUI

Project: Upgrade legacy VB6 programs to VB.NET. These applications deal with
water filtration systems performance of reverse-osmosis, nano-filtration, and
ion-exchange technologies. Some of the upgrade features include MSXML to .NET
XML, multi-cultural enhancements including Chinese language interface, and
developing multi-cultural installers using WISE installation systems.

Project: Added new functionality to their dealer’s Web portal, such that dealers
can create and maintain their own advertising Web pages. Also upgraded their
dealer locator tool and included Canadian postal codes system.

Web-based USAD practice testing sites.

Project: Upgrade existing VB6 program to VB.NET. This application provides
sizing and quotation generation for magnetic-drive centrifugal pumps. It also
includes the incorporation of the Hydraulic Institute’s XML data transfer
protocol.

Project: E-commerce Web application providing marketing channel for sales of
equine products from the manufacturer. Included custom-programmed shopping cart
and interface to AuthorizeNet Merchant payment processing system.
12/2003 to 10/2005: Industrial Louvers, Inc.

Project: Web-enabled VB6 application for estimating costs and generating quotes
for a construction supplier of custom-designed building louvers. This system
includes a Web-based data management system and generates professional-looking
quotation documents in PDF format.

Title: Senior Programmer/Analyst and .NET Architect
Duties: Develop .NET Web applications for sizing and quoting power generation
equipment on the Internet and an internal intranet. Analyze and redesign old VB
programs and ASP scripts to be .NET applications. Primary tools are Visual

-Designed and developed Web portal application for fluid handling manufacturers
to quote custom-engineered pumps and compressors. Platform: C#, ASP.NET, and SQL
Server. (7-month project).
-Updated existing Java application for U.S. Academic Decathlon tutorial and made
available for installation from CD and Web download. This project also involved
writing a Windows program to process content data into database format. Platform:
