Nineteen years of experience in report development/data retrieval, database
administration and maintenance. have provided a broad range of technical,
analytical, and presentational experiences upon which to draw. My current
position is as a data analyst/report developer building dashboards, scorecards
and reports against a clinical data warehouse. I am looking for a telecommuting
position in which I can use my many skills.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
• Work with business users to document and analyze functional
requirements for report development.
• Implementation new reporting environments for 2 separate departments.
Information Builders Web Focus for the first and Business Objects XI for the
second.
• Develop, test and publish reports, scorecards and dashboards for 3 different
departments utilizing the reporting tools of Focus, Web Focus, Crystal and SQL
queries
• Function, at all levels, in testing, implementation, and documentation of
several system upgrades for mainframe DB2 and SQL database applications
• Participated on team consisting of IS support and users to manage projects,
maintain and continuously improve systems, both mainframe and PC.
• Perform system administrator functions, troubleshoot,and problem resolution
for several database applications on both SQL and mainframe DB2 systems.
• Liaison for department in institution wide HR/Finance Lawson implementation
• Active participant in team gathering requirements for and utiliztion of
implemented systems to track hours on duty for resident trainees for
accreditation compliance reporting
• Coordinate efforts of Engineering, IS and users to document and implement
computer based system for conference attendance tracking
• Develop system to coordination payment of student stipends across disparate
departments.
• Participate in the selection of a purchased education tracking single user
system. Load software, define user requirements, and populate database based on
user specifications. Manage participant enrollments, and training correspondence
with system. Upgrade and administer system over several years, working with IS to
consolidate several single user systems to one client/server multi-user system.
• Develop and present training and documentation for system users providing
educational instruction to individual and group audiences. Start and lead
institution user group.
