OBJECTIVE: I have over 12 years of software development experience using Oracle,
Interbase, DB2, Firebird, SQL Server and MS SQL databases. I have many solid
skills from designing and analyzing to coding and testing. All of my experiences
have been in a Client Server environment. Some of my strengths are the ability to
learn quickly, communicate with all levels from management to clients, and the
love for challenges that highly motivate my problem solving ability. I believe

EXPERIENCE:
5/2008-current – Twin City Fans, Plymouth, MN
This is an extended 6-month contract, working on the Fan Selector program.
Implementing new functions, correcting current program issues and adding new
products using Delphi 6 and DBISAM database. Assisting in the implementation of
transferring to a relational database.
1/2008-4/2008 – Lincoln Financial – Omaha, NE
Contract position-implementing Riders to the current Policy Claims program
written in Delphi. Involved in fundamental design, macro and micro design, use
cases, technical design and implementation. Testing for bugs, and writing code
to correct the current issues that are documented for the programs. Using PVCS
for source control.
9/2002-current-home business
Web development for quilt shops. Currently designed and developed www.mnfun.com
using Dreamweaver, which include use of Javascript, CSS, HTML, PHP, MySQL, and
Adobe Photoshop.
9/2006 –2/2007 - Curries Doors – Mason City, IA
A remote 6-month contract assignment developing the new version of Protech, a
program that creates estimates, quotes, and bids to vendors for Doors, Frames,
and Hardware of construction of projects. Using Delphi 7, with Developers
Express used for grids and grids with sub-grids, and SQL Server. Developed stored
procedures, view, and indexes. Designed the Quotation division, and designed a
default report for users to select from and update, then saved in the database.
Quotes have Details, History, and Revisions. Also created 5 reports of the
Quotes for the Report division.
8/2006-10/2006 Metrogroup Corp – Lincoln, NE
A remote 3-month contract assignment revising the current Cole Digital Directory
program and the current Streetsmart program. Worked with Delphi 6 and SQL Server.
Creating revisions of the Installation of each program using Install-shield.
6/2005- Worlds Largest Network - Canada
A remote project to install and setup an e-commerce program for a customer of
Worlds Largest Network. This was done in Dreamweaver with HTML code and
Javascript.
5/2005-6/2005IDS Minneapolis, MN
I created a Web Service program in Delphi 6, which had 3 methods. Each method
received an XML post, performed calculations, validated the results to the
defined requirements, and replied with the correct and corresponding results in
an XML response.
1/2005 – 4/2005 Teachers Retirement Association– St. Paul, MN
Sr. Programmer/Analyst – This was a three month assignment on Phase IV
implementation of a four year project, using Delphi 6 for client and server side,
and Firebird for the database. I was assigned to debug and fix issues in a
variety of modules during the final stages of the project.

Computer/Programmer Consultant – This job entails multi-tasking website,
graphic designs, installations, and any questions that have to do with computers.
This is a part-time position which also includes some packing and shipping.

Web Designer - I have been involved with computers for over 12 years, and during
this time, I have created a small business for myself, designing websites.
Presently, I have 5 clients that I have worked for, with 4 of them are running,
and 1 is still in development. I am using Dreamweaver for development, with a
commerce.cgi for the shopping cart. I have created animation for a few of the
sites.
Home part-time business – A partner and I have started a part-time business,
which is non-related to programming, except for the website, that I have created.
We sell our products to Quilt Shops.
11/2000 - 12/2001 ECMC St. Paul, Minnesota
Sr. Programmer/Analyst
As a Senior Programmer, I was the Administrator of the source control, Visual
SourceSafe and the lead programmer of the Ajent project that is a Student Loan
Collection system written in Delphi 5/6 with an Oracle database. I assisted in
redesigning the database, creating tables, triggers, and stored procedures. I
have done many enhancements to the project, including creating and executing many
SQL statements to be connected to data-aware components, to meet the ECMC
requirements, searched and repaired memory leaks, debugged, tested, and trained
new employees on Delphi 6. I was also involved in a project that was written in
Powerbuilder that accessed an Oracle database to create scheduled reports.
6/2000 - 9/2000 Fortis Woodbury, MN
Sr. Programmer/Analyst
Using Delphi 5, I created a form for faster screen display of the Life
Insurance quotes. I have created several objects that are used to give easier and
faster access to the data, with most of these objects in separate units. I have
also, debugged and corrected calculations for both 2nd and 3rd quarter releases.
I have edited the Crystal Reports with the data that was retrieved from the
objects that I have created. I have updated the rate files with the most current
rates.
11/1998 - 4/2000 PIC Ames, IA
Sr. Programmer/Analyst
I was a consultant for the project 'PigCare', a program that provides data
entry for all stages a pigs life, and many required reports that provides the
farmer accurate and essential information of the Farm business. This program was
written in Delphi 3 with third party components on a Windows NT environment. I
created many SQL statements and stored procedures that I accessed when writing
reports and providing enhancements to the program. Later I became involve in
updating and improving two database conversions, and creating Install Shield
scripts for builds. My duties have included network support and customers
support. This position began as a 3-month contract, but was extended to over a
year, with additional reports and duties.
9/1997 - 10/1998 MACC Blair, NE
Programmer/Analyst
I was a team leader for the development of 'Customer Master', an application
with many modules that will keep track of telephone customer’s necessary
information, such as addresses, networks, charges and payments. This program is
being developed in Delphi 3 with the use of MS SQL. I designed and created many
screens that were populated by data through SQL queries, stored procedures, and
views.
3/1995 - 9/1998 Special Teams Brookings, SD
Programmer/Analyst
As a programmer Analyst, I produced several data aware screens, which were
populated by SQL queries, for the debit card application 'Access 2000'. This
project started with Delphi 2 with Interbase database, and during the 2 years I
worked there, grew to using Delphi 3 with Oracle databases. 'Access 2000' was
developed to be used at colleges and big businesses for cafeterias, bookstore,
college fees, and other debits that could be put on a card. I also assisted in a
team designed, screen level security system for the project.
