Test Engineer
Test Engineer for Middleware, Infrastructure, and Test support.
Constructed, supported and maintained large complex mission critical middleware
test server environments for Sprint Nextel. Tier I, II Troubleshooting of
Middleware applications. This included IBM WebSphere Message Broker, Interchange
Server, IBM, Datapower, and IBM WebSphere MQ. Supported middleware environment
during the Sprint Nextel merger, and during the merging of Sprints and Nexels
billing systems.
Provided exceptional application support for all major software releases in
order to ensure all 7 test environments, ranging from 3 to 16+ servers per
environment, were up and running with less than 10% downtime.
Successful implantation of WebSphere message broker into Sprint's middleware
environment to reduce response times and improve performance within the
middleware layer.
Followed strict processes and checks to ensure correct tests, code, and work
was preformed in test environments.
Utilized ticketing systems to follow issues from discovery to resolution.
Established a Rules of engagement process to avoid the engagement of wrong
teams in order to save time, money and help speed up defect resolution time.
Debugging and modification of UNIX shell scripts to meet changing business

Internship
Created a visitor pass database in Access 2003 using VBA and web camera support.
The program printed a photo id badge for visitors to the Cargill Plant. Provided
