services, including self-service, and retailer of office/school supplies.
Interacted with customers in retail, self-service, shipping and production areas
to instruct, consult with and suggest products and services. Maintained retail
displays, assisted in job productions and shipping when needed. Responsible for
completing retail inventory requisition and adjustment reports. I also
reorganized the retail overflow closet to facilitate locating products.

area. Became employed as the first trainer for the company after six months with
them. In this role I taught new contractors map and street guide reading as well

Full service banking organization based in Kansas City, MO and operating
branches throughout Kansas, Missouri and Illinois.
As Supervisor of Backroom Operations the last five years of my employment, I was
responsible for four sub-departments consisting of 16 people who performed the
functions of check returns, deposited item returns, government reclamations and
credit card draws to cover overdrafts.
I reduced overtime by 95% through the implementation of one procedure.
Staff was reduced by 12% through attrition while processing for several new
branches was added without causing a negative effect on performance levels.
Was responsible for researching and correcting entries to the Delayed and
Misapplied general ledger account, which necessitated communicating with the
Federal Reserve as well as other banks.
Often interacted with customers on various levels, but mostly with the irate
customer transferred by phone after Customer Service could not handle the
situation.
