execution of promotion requests.
Implemented program in Java to parse source files and determine required
dependency builds, and all source files required to build each program by
promotion group with the data stored in SQL database providing the ability to
automate addition of new build requirements to programs and new build projects.
Programmed libraries and executable programs in C++ and VB to interface Java
applications to PVCS allowing automation of Configuration Control functions .
Designed and implemented Java Server for Windows and Unix platforms to allow on
demand build of programs in Cobol, C++, VB, Power Builder, Java and Flex for both
Windows and Unix platforms by promotion group and perform scheduled full builds
of all programs by promotion group.
Created Client in Java using Swing components to allow multiple users to request
builds from Server.
Prepared Java program to create disaster call tree lists for each manager from
Personnel phone lists in SQL database, create email lists for each manager, and
log response information in SQL database reducing call tree preparation and
reporting time from several days to less than an hour.
