Infrastructure Readiness: Tools - Transition from legacy tools and processes to
different tools and processes, as part of the separation of RPS IT from American
Century's hardware, data centers, software, and resources. Managed $350K budget
for migration of five major tools used for problem/incident management,
distributed job scheduling, user authorization for web-based applications,
externally managed reporting repository, and web application server software, as
well as Lotus Notes to Microsoft Outlook migration, and RAD tool migration.
Managed work breakdown structure, risk, change, implementation planning, and
deployment activities, within tight schedules and using limited staff.
Coordinated implementation plan and execution with external vendor-managed
reporting system. Contributed alternate issue recommendations when roadblocks

status. Implemented a common reporting platform upgrade for six web-based
applications, which provides continuity across business units and paves the way

risks, and issues for upgrade of a 3rd party message broker software package for

support from the vendor, as well as increasing security and performance by up to

   IBM Global Services -- Overland Park, KS Sprint 09/2004   “ 03/2006. PM/Test
Lead for EWS Applications System Test team.    Provided work direction and
coordination as one of three onsite team leads for offshore testing team,
including resource planning and tracking for projects of variable sizes from 500 
 “ 1000 hours. In addition to team lead activities, performed test planning and
executed test scripts for Java/XML web and wireless applications. Instrumental in
the attainment of CMMI level 3 certification.       
PM / Team Lead for NIDA/NODS and SODS/ASAP teams   Supervised team of 6 onshore
and 12 offshore developers (Two applications using Informix and Oracle databases,
JAVA, C, eSQL, Unix shell scripts). Provided direction for SODS
development/customer care team of 5 members. Managed development and test-impact
projects ranging from 100 to 2000 hour level of effort at the application level.
Scheduled and supervised the primary and secondary 24x7 on call support and
