Professional Experience

Systems Client Services Advisor
MBS Textbook Exchange, Inc., Columbia, MO (6/2005 - Present)
As a Client Services Advisor, I coordinate the usage and maintenance of
proprietary bookstore management software (TA2).

Project Manager and Systems Coordinator for assigned accounts throughout the
country
 * I lead weekly conference calls with my clients.
 * I coordinate system upgrades for most of the software and hardware that is
supplied to my clients by MBS and IBM.
 * I assist in implementing new hardware and software that my clients purchase
though MBS.
 * I act as the main point of contact for software trouble-shooting.

 Management Software Training
 * I conduct and assist trainings using the web, phone and teleconference.
 * I train clients in the recommended use and best practices of our various
software platforms.
 * I conduct follow-ups and advanced user training sessions after the
preliminary training sessions are complete.
 * I create custom training materials and guides for advanced support issues.

 * I was assigned as lead representative of the TA2 individualized accounts
pilot, which resulted in the hiring of 33% more staff and the conversion of 100%
of our TA2 account to the piloted model.
 * I co-lead the iSeries migration team facilitating the migration of sensitive
customer data from older dated servers to newer more advanced models.
 * I organize external support of the IBM servers for clients.
 * I mentor and coach newly hired members of the customer service team.
 * I work with my client's I.T. staff to help determine security weaknesses and
advise them how to implement security enhancements.
 * I beta-test new releases of our software for quality and consistency.
 * I facilitate the interaction between my clients and the Quality Assurance
Department for timely resolution to escalated issues.
