Applications Systems Analyst II

DUTIES:
+Creation of new custom programming specifications
      -Outline of programming objective identifying files and resources to be
utilized
      -Outline input and output samples
      -Summarize program flow including identifying known limitations
+Creation of custom program modification specifications
      -Full examination of original programming code
      -Identify modification point(s)
      -Determine feasibility of client’s modification request compared to the
capabilities of the program
      -Identify additional files and resources (if necessary)
      -Outline input and output differences (if necessary) 
+Creation of Data Merge Language (DML) programs*
      -Develop DML scripts according to custom programming specifications
      -Test, troubleshoot and finalize scripts on client system
+Conduct Q&A with client on completed program
+ Provide level 2 support for problem resolution
+Work client service requests for “broken” or inconsistent programs
+Debug, correct (if necessary) and test programs not functioning according to
specifications.
+Participate as a technical resource in cross-team troubleshooting efforts
+Work directly with clients both external and internal
+Installation of Medical Manager’s EDI (Electronic Data Interface) and EMC
(Electronic Medical Claims) programs on proprietary systems
+Perform installations, upgrades and patches of various other programs
+Utilize standard corporate tools to record changes, service requests and
problem activities for tracking purposes
+Participated in the company’s nationwide project to update/modify client sites
to become NPI compliant. 
      -Dial into client sites (iTivity, Tiny Term, PC Anywhere, etc.)
      -Add to and/or modify insurance formats and internal fields 
      -Add to and/or modify UNIX shell scripts
      -Troubleshoot and finalize to assure client compliance

*Data Merge Language is a proprietary programming language exclusively utilized
by The Medical Manager ®. The language compares to QBasic or VB language in a C++
structure.
