• Original signed for six month contact received multiple extensions for three
years.

(ODS/LIFT Conversion). File transfers between mainframe /PM4Data / MQ/ and Unix

Project scope involved 150 mainframe applications and 1400+ stores.

• Managed entire GEAC (Dunn & Bradstreet) accounting system, a multi-millennium
combination CICS and MVS system. Maintained security supported and upgraded
millennium operating system, and all products working in conjunction with the
system (AP, GL, FA).
• Ensured the successful operation of an online application of various
accounting functions for 60+ users throughout company.
• Implemented changes in a team effort to improve ROI by reducing CPU usage by
15% and paper by 35%.
• Selected as key player in a major cost reduction and consolidation effort. Was
lead expert in the legacy GEAC system responsible for conversion of historic and
current accounting information to LAWSON. Managed and orchestrated the efforts of
team members in an accurate 7 month implementation on time.
• Implemented a retro fit 911 federal tax regulation to fixed asset system which
resulted in the government legislature allowing the company to take advantage of
a 30% tax savings.
• Provided corporate purchasing data from Sara Lee Direct’s legacy accounting
systems for corporate wide spending analysis.
• Developed cross-reference processes whereby external legacy billing interfaces
could be processed in the newly designed LAWSON system, allowing other
“non-converted” Sara Lee divisions’ access to LAWSON.
• Implemented process improvement within the receipt matching system through
consolidation of redundancies. Provided precise reporting of EDI and Non-EDI
invoices, reducing the Inventory Account Managers processing time.
• Modified existing Retail and Catalog accounting systems allowing for growth of
new businesses of Champion.com, Champion Catalog and Champion Floor Back Order.
