Directed end-to-end tactical and strategic management for a broad portfolio of
enterprise software development projects with budgets in excess of $10M in
addition to overseeing a team of technical project managers in charge of
individual projects.
* Oversaw one of the largest, most complex software releases in BCBSNC history
with over 200 employees involved over a release weekend where modifications or
upgrades were made to every major software system.
* Lead the design and implementation of a major project estimate tracking
system allowing for the analysis of historical project estimates to improve
future estimates.
* Developed the first set of standardized Release Management best practices for
the IS engineering organization
* Managed complete software development lifecycle of quarterly corporate
software releases, each consisting of 6 to 12 major enterprise software
development projects, including planning, directing and coordination from design

First American Corporation (FA)
Developed and managed new web-based Software as a Service (SaaS) products and
services including system architecture, programming and development of marketing
campaigns for Fortune 500 Company. Responsible for the complete software
development cycle for all associated software and database systems.
* Directed the complete integration of TerraVerge (acquired by First American)
technology, products and customers into FA systems; completed in less than three
months allowing the company to eliminate a vendor who supplied similar technology
saving the company nearly $1M per year.
* Conducted the design, development, and commercialization of one of the
nation's largest spatially enabled property databases for increased functionality
and competitiveness of existing FA products which opened new markets for the
company and resulting in multiple contracts with major customers.
* Designed and developed major portions of system code and databases included
architecture development and system design for a major web-based B2B eCommerce
product.
* Single-handedly designed and developed a complex series of algorithms that
employed geospatial queries to increase the accuracy of property Automated
Valuation Models (AVM.)
