Quality Assurance Analyst
Bob transferred to the Quality Assurance team of 10 and quickly began performing
quality checks on web sites, CD/DVD products, and data files sent to subscribers.
This position required learning the process of checking all aspects of a web site
including but not limited to validating links, downloads, printing, graphics,
business and consumer data base, third party connectivity and other internal
functions.  CD/DVD testing required checking data, software applications,
networking and application functions.  CDs and DVD were burned and readied for
duplication.. He gained additional training in support applications Excel and
Access.  Experience at infoUSA has helped Bob building and maintaining 5 web
sites, 3 of which are his own business e-commerce sites.

use of the AS400.

Bob began his experience in the Small business arena and quickly earned a
position on the Big Business and American Church List team.  While at this
position, he made several recommendations for improvements to enable the
tele-researchers to perform their tasks more efficiently. This position was
intended to be a short-term position until the economy recovered and another
position was available with the Information Systems organizations.

Programmer Analyst
Bob designed, coded, tested, and successfully installed changes to the batch
health system supporting enhancements for Critical Illness, Long Term Care, Major
Med and Med Supp systems.  Changes were made primarily to COBOL batch programs
but changes were also made to the Oplex assembler on-line modules. Bob was also
part of a 3 person 9 month project team to convert the JCL for all of the printed
reports in the health system to an electronic forms format. Bob completed
training in LOMA 1 & 2 and HIAA.

Bob performed testing and coding on an Assembler Y2K project for Product Code
Extension for retail catalog sales.  This project was a success and is going into
production in December.

Assembler Programmer/Analyst
Bob provided analysis and coding for 71 Assembler CICS programs to provide
multiple country processing in a single cycle environment.  He modified, built
test files, and tested 10 COBOL CICS programs for the Settlement Rewrite project.
 He also provided development and maintenance to BAL native mode and COBOL CICS
and DB/2 programs in the credit card chargeback, retrieval, and settlement arena.
 Bob provided maintenance and source-dependent-routing testing of the Debit Card
system as well as maintenance and development to the credit card system from the
Merchant side.  About 30% of Bob’s time was spent on new development and 80%
coding and 20% analysis.
