PayPal – Omaha, NE
• Provided telephone and email technical support to PayPal clients migrating
their Payflow implementation to version 4.
• Answered technical questions, assisted with coding and troubleshooting, and
provided any technical assistance necessary as over 70,000 PayPal clients
upgraded their websites and billing systems, many on a tight deadline.
• Supported developers in a wide range of technologies and platforms, including
HTTPS, ColdFusion, Java, ASP, .Net, C++, and many others.
Software Engineer – May 2007 to May 2009
Kenexa – Lincoln, NE
• Responsible for all technical phases of survey projects (DB Setup, Survey
Setup, Response Rate, Reporting, & Action Planning).
• Customized surveys; collected, processed, and analyzed data from surveys of
clients (including Fortune 500 companies), like ING, McGraw-Hill, Luxottica, Toys
“R” Us, and Circuit City.
• Generated reports using MS Access 2003, MS SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting

• Developed reports and analyzed data using a variety of tools and systems,
including Forest and Trees, SQL Server 2005, MS Access, DBase2, Oracle, Landacorp
MaxMC, Visual Cactus, Crystal Reports, and MS Excel.
• Redesigned a complex data system (that involved using Crystal Reports to pull
from Oracle, Forest & Trees to pull from Dbase, and MS Access to merge it all
together) into a SQL and Access solution that saved two days worth of report
generation time each month.

• Analyzed and diagnosed a series of issues with a damaged installation of
Windows Enterprise Server 2003 and SQL Server 2000, including failures in backups
and purging, blue screen crashes, and system lockups.
• Developed and implemented solutions for a proprietary Accounts Receivable
system using SQL Server 2000, Crystal Reports, and MS Access.

• Served as first point of contact and subject matter expert for the ADM Master
Inventory program that tracked all American Express server hardware and software
worldwide.

• Rewrote, as part of a three-person team, the Blue Card prospect/client
tracking database from MS Access to MS SQL with a Macromedia Cold Fusion front
end.
• Managed the operation of an Online Insurance Enrollment System responsible for
over forty thousand insured enrollees and one million dollars in monthly premium.
• Coordinated enhancements, trained users, and provided customer support and
troubleshooting.
• Programmed Intranet reporting and query tools for clients utilizing MS SQL
Server, MS Access, Macromedia Cold Fusion and MS Office.
Database Programmer/Analyst - February 2000 to June 2001
Sun Health Corporation - Sun City, AZ
• Programmed and debugged queries for searching, sorting, and updating the
Affinity Patient Database using MUMPS programming and Affinity query language.
• Designed, tested, and implemented a “Web-Enabled” interface to the Affinity
Patient Database using MS SQL and Macromedia Cold Fusion, allowing Sun Health
physicians to view patient data from all of the seven facilities on a single
screen.
• Functioned as Intranet Emergency Support when the Webmaster left with no
notice. Learned web programming and Cold Fusion as needed to keep the company
Intranet operational.
