Responsible for development of business plans and pro-forma financials as well
as start up activities for subsidiary companies including securing operating

Responsible for profit / loss leadership and business growth for a fiberboard
manufacturer with annual sales in excess of 70m.     

Key Achievements:
* Re-implemented the company ERP systems to drive operational excellence and
productivity.
* Reduced operating costs by 25% and reduced working capital requirements by 500
k  and improved inventory turns by 25%.

THERMADYNE	June 2000 – December 2007
Vice President – Demand Planning / Information Technology
Responsible for the direction of information systems and services within a 6
million technology budget.  Hired and trained project managers, systems analysts
and programmers to execute the company’s projects.  Maintained a “hands on”
involvement in development of most projects and created and taught a training
program for programming interns.   
Key Achievements:
* Lead the implementation of a successful e-commerce redesign program.
* Re-implemented the ERP system, JD Edwards, and retrained programming staff in
modern uses of iSeries technologies including RPG IV ILE and DB2/400 SQL

and development phases of implementing rental applications on a distributed
platform. Managed the integration of legacy systems with web-based architectures.
Led team in defining new application architectures using IBM iSeries (AS/400) and
RPG III and IV ILE development languages.

Key Achievements:
* Integrated Legacy RPG applications to Peoplesoft and Oracle applications
* Lead a team of technology architects in creating a new iSeries application
architecture and developed scalable and reliable systems capable of handling
millions of transactions per day on both e-commerce and internal transaction
systems.
* Worked directly with IBM in their Rochester, MN development labs on ILE RPG
